Your request for AfC assistance

[edit]

Hi, I saw your request for assistance with Articles for Creation. Inline citations are the way of citing sources in an article and are a required part of any article. For a good tutorial on creating inline citations, see Help:Referencing for beginners, and if you prefer to use the visual editor there is also a guide on that on there. If you have any more questions, feel free to send a message on my talk page. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:11, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for AfC assistance

[edit]

I noticed that you required help with your AfC submission. As stated by Worldbruce on the article, "Inline citations are NOT required in order for the draft to be accepted (see Wikipedia:Citing sources)" and "With the citations and promotionalism out of the way, that leaves the problem of notability. You have two in-depth, independent, reliable, secondary sources. Two is "multiple", but Wikipedia's training materials for new editors often advise having "at least three". Several reviewers have felt that two is not enough in this case." The editor suggested that, if a third source could not be found, then you should just add the content of the draft to the article Manheim Auctions. Therefore, three sources are generally required to establish notability and, if notability could not be established, then the subject may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guidelines and would not be suitable for an article. If you have any more questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. -Liancetalk/contribs 22:30, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
