More information needed about File:Bobby-kotick-photo-wikipedia.jpg

- Hi, I'm following up on the bot. You may wish to send an email to WP:OTRS stating that this image is truly released under a CCbySA license, and that you are either a) the creator of the image or b) have permission to release the image under that license. Cheers. --Izno (talk) 23:20, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- You may also consider providing proof of this edit: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Robert_Kotick&diff=477022347&oldid=476614535 . We take biographies of living people very seriously, so unfactual information is generally reverted, and I have done so here. Further, you have a conflict of interest, which I think is important to mention here, so most edits you would otherwise make to articles as a part of your work should be made to the talk pages of those articles for other editors to discuss.
- Let me know if you need help in understanding any of this. --Izno (talk) 23:30, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- I just checked the flickr page. The image needs to be released as CC by SA (attribution-sharealike) or CC by (attribution), not as CC by NC (attribution-noncommercial).[1] That sometimes presents a problem for some people. Please contact WP:OTRS about this, either way. Cheers. --Izno (talk) 15:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- I see that you did indeed license the picture correctly on flickr, and I've gone and fixed the image description page here as well as readded the image.
- On the point of his birth date and age, when I looked a while ago, there was no reliable source where that information was listed. Could you find a website to cite that information to, or even on his own personal website (if he has one), to add that information (per our policy on self-published sources)?
- On other factual information which can be cited, please leave that on the talk page of his (or others' articles), due to your conflict of interest. Other editors will likely be able to update on your behalf.
- I'm going to say this again, but please contact WP:OTRS about the work you are doing; specifically, that that image is correctly licensed on flickr as well as any other work you might be doing for clients. They will be able to help you better than I can to make sure that image stays on the article. --Izno (talk) 03:13, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

re: Elie Hirschfeld page
[edit]Thanks for the message, and yeah, the page feels very much in progress still, and that makes sense. Mosmof (talk) 12:37, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
