ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Nusrat21. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Run (BTS song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Motif (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Bepannah

[edit]

Hi, regarding this edit of yours, I am pretty sure the word bepanaah literally means 'without protection or shelter' as 'panaah' mean 'protection/shelter' and the prefix 'be-' means 'without', though the word has been started to use as 'limitless'. Beintehaa or behadh means 'without limit or boundary'. What do you think? Thanks Vivek Ray (talk) 04:29, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I changed the meaning because while bepanaah can mean "without protection," it is not used in that context in the serial. The word also means "endless" or "limitless" and is used as such on the show, as proven by the show's theme song and several dialogues spoken by the characters, which used the word as meaning "I have loved you limitlessly" or "endlessly." Thanks! Nusrat21 (talk) 04:39, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, in that case it's OK. Also, to ping any user, use {{ping|Username}} before the text of your message. See Template:Reply to in case you want to know more. And thank you for doing the copyediting! Vivek Ray (talk) 04:48, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About removing content on Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka

[edit]

Hi, you removed lots of plot content on Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. Please note that, you just cannot remove lots of content without giving clear calcification. Zafar24Talk 18:52, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) @Zafar24: The user might be copyediting because according to MOS:TVPLOT, plot summary of a TV show cannot be more than 500 words. Thanks. Vivek Ray (talk) 08:56, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Zafar24: A correction. Since, there is a separate list of episodes for the said series, the plot summary in the main series article should be around 100 words per season. Please go through MOS:TVPLOT to know more. Thanks again Vivek Ray (talk) 09:20, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! NJZombie (talk) 04:08, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
