Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Tim Reynolds (football coach). For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Tim Reynolds (football coach) with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Tim Reynolds (football coach) with a link to the details.

It is also important that the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and that it follows Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:Tim Reynolds (football coach)/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:Tim Reynolds (football coach) saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Your original contributions are welcome. -- lucasbfr talk 14:59, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that Gary Downs is a copyright violation too. This is very important, did you copy paste other articles? For legal reasons we can't have them on Wikipedia. -- lucasbfr talk 15:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

explanation

[edit]

Mostly the text is an edit of the original piece. It's based on one source since other material I have not (yet) found. I am deliberately not simply copy-pasting stuff. However, if you feel this is not enough, feel free to remove the specific items and I will try to redo them. --Numbers47 15:21, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The two I spotted really are very close from the original and probably fall under copyright laws. The two other you wrote seemed to be farther from the original source and were Ok in my opinion. Of course I might be wrong ;) -- lucasbfr talk 15:27, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I will search for more source material for some other coach stuff I did (am doing so now actually). 'Thanks' for the warning. ;) --Numbers47 15:33, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to you for taking the time (and keeping a cool head, I know it's difficult when you receive a warning ;)) -- lucasbfr talk 16:03, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
