Head of Aphrodite

[edit]

I saw you replaced the image of the defaced head of Aphrodite on Persecution of pagans in the late Roman Empire with a better version. Do you have a copy of that picture that still has the original background? I think it might be worthy of a Featured Picture nomination - something I wanted to do with the older photo before I realized the resolution was too low - but they generally like photos to have backgrounds. It exists but it’s just an iPhone shot. I didn’t think much of the quality I took and then I saw how bad many images of classical artefacts were so I thought I might just as well replace them. Nubero (talk) 18:59, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well. Thanks for taking the picture, though! Moonreach (talk) 19:14, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! Apart from the obvious things like telephoto shots with lots of bokeh, there is a lot of things that you can do with a mobile phone these days. Still, it is what it is. Nubero (talk) 19:32, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
