The page User:Nreddy6699/sandbox has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://www.tata.com/business/tata-projects. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. [edit]Hello Nreddy6699. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nreddy6699. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nreddy6699|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 12:11, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I am not directly or indirectly compensated for my edits. am freelancer just learning and trying to add "TATA PROJECTS" , I have the rights from TATA PROJECTS only to create wiki for them, if I successfully write their article , so in future i can get more articles to write. Nreddy6699 (talk) 12:33, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- So you are doing this for free out of the goodness of your heart? If you are in communication with the company as you are suggesting, you still have a conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 12:37, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- What should I need now? I need to publish this one; what are the documents I need to submit to get it published? Nreddy6699 (talk) 12:43, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Before you do anything, you need to comply with WP:COI and formally declare your conflict of interest. What you should be doing is not merely posting content from Tata Motors here, but summarizing what independent reliable sources say about the topic, in your own words.
- What is the source of your need? 331dot (talk) 12:46, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Article Content is prepared by me only with the help of their reference documents Nreddy6699 (talk) 12:51, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not want to know what Tata Motors' reference documents say. Your content was merely taken from a website, not rewritten. Wikipedia wants to know what independent sources say. Again, why do you "need" to do this? 331dot (talk) 13:19, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Article Content is prepared by me only with the help of their reference documents Nreddy6699 (talk) 12:51, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- "What should I need now? I need to publish this one" > you don't need to publish anything. Wikipedia is only interested in what independent and reliable sources say about a company, NOT what the company itself says about itself. You must not simply copy content from the TATA website verbatim and replicate it on Wikipedia. That is not permitted. Please see Wikipedia:DIRECTORY Qcne (talk) 13:35, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
