Thanks for update

[edit]

Thanks for your update at Digital Object Identifier, and your removal of the unreasonable link. That page deserves some further improvement (e.g. all the inappropriate remarks about intellectual property), but doesn't get much participation. See what you think about the further change that I just made. EdJohnston 16:53, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am an editor and writer by trade and stumbling upon this article was merely happenstance, but happy to assist in its development. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 19:03, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have page numbers for the Eforgan book, to go along with the citations? Rather than Chapter 1, 8, 11, usually you either indicate the page range of the source (pp.) or the actual page reference. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 14:47, 23 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Typically, significant individual events can be chronicled, although as you characterized, the Leslie Howard (actor) article has been updated and some of the information can now be transferred to the BOAC Flight 777 article. Note that a major air battle took place the next day and may need to be added to the Flight 777 detailing. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 16:50, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By-the-bye, the reference formatting of the article is decidedly "dicey" and needs a major revision. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 16:52, 24 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
