Plan to add to Glasgow stations template

[edit]

I'm planning to add this station Crow Road to the disused section of the Glasgow stations template. I'm also quite glad to find out about this station - as a kid I lived about 50 yards from the site of it and was always convinced that a tunnel thing I could see was probably an old station. It's something I never thought to check out as I got older, until today when I stumbled over it. I'll even try get a picture or two of the remnants of the platform. --Notorious Biggles 17:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to add closed Glasgow stations. Stewart 19:40, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Crow Road

[edit]

I think you will find that the station was located to the west of Crow Road between the tunnel under the current Hyndland Station and the bridge that takes Crow Road over the trackbed next to another tunnel mouth. If I am right, the station was located where the modern flats (1980's construction??) are now built. I do not believe the platforms actually reach the tunnel at either end.
