Hello, I'm FourViolas. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Katy Perry because it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks. FourViolas (talk) 04:11, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Reliance Communications with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. FourViolas (talk) 04:16, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have nothing against Ailey or Black lives matter, but it's just dishonest to say that http://p.pw/baewPH is Katy Perry's or Reliance Communication's or Taylor Swift's "official site". Wikipedia shouldn't lie to its readers, even for what you believe are noble reasons; we have a guideline against WP:Advocacy. Thank you. FourViolas (talk) 04:25, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:24, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
