Replaceable non-free use File:BTSJinTheAstronautMV.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:BTSJinTheAstronautMV.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 11:13, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:BTSJinTheAstronautMV.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:BTSJinTheAstronautMV.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hammersoft (talk) 11:13, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:BTSJungkookFesta2023.jpeg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:BTSJungkookFesta2023.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 03:45, 27 May 2024 (UTC)

Uploading copyrighted images
[edit]Hello, uploading copyrighted images is strictly forbidden. Please understand WP:IUP before you upload any more. Best, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 03:47, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- My apologies, I misunderstood the policy on publicity photos. I see now that "if it is possible to replace the publicity image with a new, free, image of similar value to the reader then the free image must be used in preference to the restricted and copyrighted publicity photograph." Disambiguation link notification for June 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Joker Xue, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page San Jose. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Joker Xue. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Oh, and that was not a minor edit. Drmies (talk) 01:30, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I was cleaning up links by adding the language they are in, translating the website names from Chinese into English, and removing archived links that weren't needed. I classified the edit as minor because I did not alter much of the content, if at all. If that is not how minor edits are classified then I apologize for the mistake. NotNowAndYet (talk) 01:34, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, but why were archived links not needed? And no, this is not a minor edit at all--just look at how much you removed, −2,865. Please use edit summaries to explain what you are doing. Drmies (talk) 01:36, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I thought archive links are only for links that are dead? All the links with archived links are still active. NotNowAndYet (talk) 01:38, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- No, that's news to me. I had to look around a bit but here, Wikipedia:Link rot--look under "Manual archiving", where it says "If the link is still valid, include |url-status=live". So--the template itself already allows for the possibility of a live link being archived. Drmies (talk) 01:50, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I see. I've only seen archived links listed where the original links are dead so I incorrectly thought the archive links weren't needed. NotNowAndYet (talk) 01:54, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I can't blame you for thinking that. Take care, Drmies (talk) 14:11, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Joker Xue discography
[edit]Hi, Joker Xue is missing a discography page. Would you be able to create one? Some examples of them are A-Mei discography and G.E.M. discography. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 05:35, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, it may take me a bit though. NotNowAndYet (talk) 05:37, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

Hi there. I called Leehsiao and Andrew318 for explanation at the WikiProject talk page, but no response so far. And suggest that change "Label" to "Distributor" at the "Release history" table. If you’re able to could you leave your opinion on the matter, if possible, as well as Chinese talk page. 2001:D08:2931:66B8:17DC:234E:BB74:E32C (talk) 06:14, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
Billboard Radio China 2015 chart positions
[edit]Hello, thank you for adding the Billboard Radio China chart positions for several artists. I was also wondering if you were able to find any 2015 archives on BRC's Weibo account, as I have trouble registering for Weibo to look through their past posts myself. I have been looking for chart positions for GEM's 2015 singles on various sources for the past day or two now, but I wasn't able to find anything from 2015. Best, ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 04:54, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- I did some digging on BRC's Weibo account and the first "Top 10 Hero" chart was released on October 3, 2016, so there's no 2015 data. NotNowAndYet (talk) 06:32, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Do you know the name of the chart in Chinese before it was rebranded "Top 10 Hero"? I can try looking for more information. NotNowAndYet (talk) 16:36, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
