Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article The Darkness (comics), please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Sexual frustration, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi North911,

You might want to check out the manual of style before editing. Your edits leave something to be desired, I'm afraid. Like your edit on The Darkness II was original research, you'll need a source to make that kind of statement. On Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption you added unnecessary capital letters. I don't want to come off as rude, but this is an encyclopedia after all. Happy editing and good luck, --Soetermans. T / C 09:14, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not capitalize sub-headings. That is against the Wikipedia convention for sub-headings. Please refrain from doing this again. Thank you. Spidey104 14:42, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Riddick, you may be blocked from editing. Per this [1], please do not capitalize subheadings, as you were warned for above. Heiro 18:03, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently infringing Wikipedia's policy on capitalisation. It goes against the grain to block an editor for such a minor offence, but you have been repeatedly informed that this is unacceptable, and have taken no notice, so I am issuing a fairly short block. When the block expires, please try to edit within the framework of Wikipedia's guidelines and policies, and if you think you have good reasons for disagreeing with other editors then please explain why, rather than just ignoring what they say. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:12, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Room for improvement

[edit]

Hey, I'm glad to see that your block seemed to get your attention and improve your editing. Edits like this are extremely nice to see since it shows you understand what you did wrong. However, edits like this are not good. Removing links damages and disrupts articles. You can be blocked again for this type of behavior as that is also considered vandalism. Also, please include edit summaries with all of your edits. We cannot read your mind and it helps other editors understand what you are trying to do. You're doing better, but there is still room for improvement. Spidey104 15:49, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're doing a really good job of making good edits now, so thank you for fixing that problem. Can you work on adding edit summaries to your edits? It is helpful to other editors. Thank you. Spidey104 14:00, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you made some edits to Criticism of Christianity which I have removed. You can re-insert the less contentious fixes again, but note that we can't accept original research on wikipedia, see WP:OR. Divine command theory

Hi there North911, I see that you've been contributing to divine command theory. I have started a discussion on the talk page about some of what you've been adding; I'd appreciate it if you could have a look and tell me what you think, so that we might come to an agreement. Criticism of religion

[edit]

Greetings North911, I hope you are doing well. I have been watching your recent edits in the criticism of religion page and I wanted to remind you that the article needs to have reliable information that adequately reflects the sources in what they say (some of your edits involved citations, which I know did not say it in the way you understood it, since I put some of them in myself [5]). I also checked the sources on your recent additions and the original wording before your edits [6] and saw that the sources did not claim what you were assuming. This article is known to have editors "dump" their biases into the sources, but I will not tolerate any controversial interpretations unless those sources explicitly mention them in that way. We must keep a neutral perspective and not slant what the sources say WP:NPOV. We must also avoid synthesis WP:SYN. I have assumed that your edits are in good faith and that is why I have not "reverted" your edits directly like Editor2012 did today, but please make sure your edits follow Wikipedia protocols. It seems you are interested in this article - which is great, but please do not extrapolate what the sources say. Otherwise, other editors will not see your edits as reliable and lose trust in your future edits. Reputation matters here. If you have any concerns, please feel free to discuss in the "Talk" page. Also if you add an explanation on your edits it may help other editors see your rationale for your edits. I wish you the best. Ramos1990 (talk) 04:44, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

I agree that you should be using edit summaries. I've reverted you again at Deity - we do not use children's books as sources, and if you read the article it's clear that some deities are supreme beings, but most are not - see the rest of the article. [edit]

Your recent editing history at Deity shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. [edit]

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. --220 of Borg 11:56, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Please use high quality references per WP:MEDRS such as review articles or major textbooks. Note that review articles are NOT the same as peer reviewed articles. A good place to find medical sources is TRIP database Thanks.

The article Moneca Delain has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Misuse of WP:Minor edit

[edit]

Like I stated, edits such as the one you made here and have made elsewhere (looking at your contributions) are not minor edits. Read WP:Minor edit to see what qualifies as a minor edit, and do not mark edits as minor unless they are. Flyer22 (talk) 14:40, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
