Why are you using Articles for Creation? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:59, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MSGJ I don't feel comfortable creating articles on my own, because I'm afraid that they usually won't have enough polish to be notable for inclusion. Using AFC is my best bet because it's often good to let another editor check to see if the article has enough sources and is notable for inclusion on Wikipedia. DYK for Interstate 59 in Alabama

[edit]

On 22 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Interstate 59 in Alabama, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Malfunction Junction in Birmingham, Alabama, carried 160,000 vehicles in 2018, instead of 80,000 as it was intended to hold? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Interstate 59 in Alabama. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Interstate 59 in Alabama), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
