Bermuda

[edit]

Hi - welcome on board the good ship Wikipedia! It's good to know I'm not the only person here who knows enough about Bermuda to write something about it (I started most of the Bermuda geography stubs). Unfortunately most of my information is woefully out-of-date, which is why I avoided writing anything about the politics of the place and just stuck with the geography - hopefully you'll be able to extend a few of the others stubs I started, too! (In case you're wondering, no, I live in New Zealand, but my godparents were from Warwick Parish, which is how I know something about the place). Grutness...wha? 06:50, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

UN List of Non-Self-Governing-Territories

[edit]

In that case, it stands as original research as defined in Wikipedia and should be removed. User:Ejrrjs says What? 00:42, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How is it original research?

From the Original Research guidelines: Original research that creates primary sources is not allowed. However, research that consists of collecting and organizing information from existing primary and/or secondary sources is strongly encouraged. In fact, all articles on Wikipedia should be based on information collected from primary and secondary sources. This is not "original research", it is "source-based research", and it is fundamental to writing an encyclopedia. Nitjanirasu 01:04, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bermuda Regiment

[edit]

Hi! Great work on the Bermuda Regiment; however, cut and paste moves are strongly frowned upon. For move information about moving pages, please see Wikipedia:Moving pages. SoLando (Talk) 01:58, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. Just wanted to inform you that I've merged the histories of the two articles. Again, great work on the article! Take care. SoLando (Talk) 02:07, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
