Linkin Park discography
I changed some of your edits to Linkin Park discography. Consider checking Wikipedia:DISCOGSTYLE for the discographies style. --Neo139 (talk) 21:13, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Yes, thats just a detail. When the band have lots of Certifications is better to put them in small. Other thing I changed is that the "Certifications" cell now has only 1 link to List of music recording certifications. Most of the discographies still have the old style. Anyway, I'm trying to make Linkin Park discography to featured article but its hard. If you can improve the Lead it will help a lot --Neo139 (talk) 19:37, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
You are right about removing all the certifications link except the first one. I have applied this suggestion. About adding small "(sales thresholds)" under certificate, that is the old format of discographies article. The new format is without that. This has been discussed in here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Discographies/style#Certifications column heading links. Thanks ^^ --Neo139 (talk) 16:34, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Annihilator members in 2010.png
You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:09, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Hello Nima1024. Instead of simply deleting comments from the talkpage, could you create an archive page for them instead? Many thanks. The Rambling Man (talk) 12:26, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- In my opinion it's just better to archive the whole lot. The Rambling Man (talk) 12:30, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- Try this: Help:Archiving a talk page. The Rambling Man (talk) 12:42, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Star Ratings
Hello! While I appreciate what you're trying to do with the addition of a ratings template to video game articles, I don't think it should be used - as I've said in my Hot Pursuit edit summary, the ratings template doesn't show definition under .1 very well (eg 87/100 and 88/100 show the same stars) and if reviewers use a particular scoring format (/10, /5, % etc) then I think we should stick to that. If you feel strongly, I suggest you bring it up on WT:VG. Thanks! Fin © ™ 12:34, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hello again. I know you didn't change the scores themselves, but you changed how they're presented. If a review gives a score of 87%, then the table should show that figure, not show a star rating based on the figure. I would agree there's little to no difference between 8.7 and 8.8, but that's not the issue - like I say, if a review gives a score then we should show that score as it was in the review, not conform it to the ratings template. My reversion of your edits is still valid, based on my reasoning. Again, if you still think the rating template should be used, you should probably bring it up at WT:VG. Thanks! Swingtime in the Movies
Hi - I see your change to the article on Swingtime in the Movies is just moving white space. Per the AWB rules of use, this shouldn't be done ("Avoid making insignificant or inconsequential edits such as only adding or removing some white space"). I've noticed this on other articles you've edited recently. Please refrain from making this trivial changes. Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 14:39, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Limewire Pirate Edition, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. Thanks, but No Thanks
Please don't edit my talk page to tidy it up, (any preferably not anyone else's either): if I think it needs any re-formatting etc I'll do it myself, but I prefer not to have to scan a vast collections of edits to see whether anything significant has been changed. I believe you meant well, but please don't do it again. PamD (talk) 16:24, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. I was wondering if there was a way of configuring the automated tool you're using so that my sig is an exception to the rule that puts a space between wikilinks. I use Ctrl + F quite extensively to browse through conversations quickly, and the value of doing that is substantially reduced if my sig is amended to be different from what other people refer to me as. The specific edit that caused the problem was this. Best, —W F C— 19:40, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

- "it's clear." - What's clear? I don't understand.
- "Tags must put in correct place and in correct form." - Your change made absolutely no difference to either the appearance or the behaviour of the page. Quite clearly, what you say is not the case.
- "Anything else?" - Probably, but I'll wait until the first topic is resolved before moving to another topic. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 10:45, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

You tagged Virtual Tags, as an A1. Looking at the history, it appears the editor started an article with substantial content, then removed it all, then brought it back after fixing an image problem. You tagged it in the few minutes it was blanked. Understandable at the time. Rabyanah
Hallo Nima I saw that you added the Primary source Template to my Stub about Rabyanah. Why do you consider this source as a primary source?
Thanks and Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 09:14, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- OK, but the source used is not a primary source. This is a (great) book about Libya. I thought that primary source is meant to be something like my travel diary... :-) Should I remove the primary source template (of course, keeping the other one)? Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 09:21, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- No, I think that you does not understand what I mean... :-) On the article there are two Tags. One (only one source is used here ) is clear , the other (a PRIMARY source is used here) is not clear at all. Understood now? Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 09:27, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- OK, now what you mean is becoming slowly clear to me. You mean that this article contains the same information as the article about Kufra... This is correct, but I have to enlarge the stub.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with the concept of primary source. The definition of primary source is here below:
" Primary sources are very close to an event, often accounts written by people who are directly involved, offering an insider's view of an event, a period of history, a work of art, a political decision, and so on. An account of a traffic accident written by a witness is a primary source of information about the accident; similarly, a scientific paper documenting a new experiment is a primary source on the outcome of that experiment. Historical documents such as diaries are primary sources."
Now, the source of this article (which is a geographic stub) is a book (written 82 years ago :-))) about the subject, so it is NOT a primary source. Understood now? Alex2006 (talk) 09:44, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- OK, thanks! Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 13:07, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Pink Floyd discography
hello,
I received a message from you regarding the Pink Floyd discography FLC nomination, which was closed by User:Giants2008, one of three directors of WP:FLC, though not an admin, with the result "not promoted". Remember that non-admins can close something on Wikipedia, see also WP:NAC. But closing on projects like WP:FLC should be made by directors, and Giants2008 is one of those. I suggested a withdrawal, because it is simply not ready to be one of our best works on Wikipedia, and Giants2008 aggreed with that. I am happy to work with you together, but please do not nominated something which is premature. You already gave me examples which are better than this list, at the moment. Remember that FLC was hugely developed in the recent years. This list probably would be promoted two years ago if it would look like that. Regards.--♫Greatorangepumpkin♫T 09:18, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Floyd templates
Hey Nima, I put in a lot of work trying to find the right colors for each of the album templates. It is a piece of artwork after all, and not particularly important so I thought that this would be okay. I wanted to make the colors as representative of the album as possible, rather than the dull standard blue of most of Wikipedia. If you really have a gripe with it, perhaps we could start a discussion about it.Hoops gza (talk) 03:56, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Re: The Wall
I really don't know what version you would be talking about. I'm not referencing a foreign release or anything, just the original UK EMI pressing from 1979. Also, I'm pretty sure that all of the 1979 pressings had the same artwork anyway. You can go to Discogs.com to look up the different releases if you like, though they have images of the labels (here and here) that clearly don't put the parts of the song in parentheses. I'd link to the lyrics sheets (which also don't contain parentheses), but I don't know where to find those online. It's true that various different releases over the years have changed the song titles (some use roman numerals, etc), but on the original UK EMI pressing, the parentheses are absent. Cheers. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Template:Latest preview software release/Firefox, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Non-free rationale for File:PerfectDisk Icon.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:PerfectDisk Icon.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:40, 16 November 2011 (UTC)

Curved Air
The original picture disc read "Airconditioning" while the black vinyl issue read "Airconditioning" on the cover but "AIR CONDITIONING" on the record label. I guess even Warner Bros were not sure of the correct usage. RGCorris (talk) 18:07, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity
Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
