Flip Benham Vandalism Revert

[edit]

Hi there, I noticed you left a vandalism warning on my talk page, and was just writing to let you know that the substance of the edit was to revert the obvious vandalism, not contribute to it. If I went about it the wrong way, I apologize, but it was in good faith. JJan818 (talk) 18:51, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It was a mistake, sorry. Night Snitch (talkcontribs) 18:56, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, appreciate your help with the vandalism there, I saw it going around on social media, thinking about doing an RfP. Regards, JJan818 (talk) 19:01, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I am close friends with Geralds family, and they really want the page taken down or remove the day of death and cause. Please — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.29.32.179 (talk) 23:13, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You can't prove it. Night Snitch (talkcontribs) 23:19, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reinstating proposed deletions

[edit]

Hi Night Snitch, I noticed you just reverted an edit by an IP user who had removed a PROD-template. According to WP:DEPROD, this should only be done when the removal wasn't clearly vandalism, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Was there any specific reason you reinstated the PROD? Best, — Blablubbs (talkcontribs) 19:17, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Blablubbs: He did not seem to have adequately justified the removal. Night Snitch (talkcontribs) 19:19, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
While I agree that the given reason isn't exactly a great one, PROD templates can be removed by anyone for any reason. Best — Blablubbs (talkcontribs) 19:22, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
