I have redirected the article which you have created to Phoeung Sakona, and reverted your changes to the latter page. I doubt that you can call a particular transcription of the name "correct" or "incorrect"; in any case, without evidence to the contrary, the article should use the spelling used in the reference. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 13:06, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
I know Ms Phoeurng Sackona personally. The right spellling of her name is with the R in her family name and with a C in her given name. See here: http://www.anvaya.info/vijara-avec-mme-phoeurng-sackona-ministre-de-la-culture-et-des-beaux-arts/ or here http://www.mcfa.gov.kh/site/struture_detail/52
PLEASE, do not intervene with my editing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Personal knowledge doesn't have much weight on Wikipedia; see the policy of verifiability. In any case, I believe that the two variants are alternate transcriptions (see Romanization of Khmer) and it's not the case that one or the other is "correct" or "incorrect". If you believe otherwise, you can make your case at requested moves. (Also, an article should not be moved by manually copying its contents; see the instructions on moving articles.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 13:24, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- You are just wrong. That is it. I know well how Ms Sackona Phoeurng's name is spelled. Saw her passport. Your intervention is totally incorrect. Stop it! You understand!!!!!!!!!!

- Is the official website of the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts not enough for verifiability? Can you read it? So read that page and see her right spelling, wise guy!!!!

(edit conflict) Hmm, the official website of the Ministry of Culture also uses the other spelling; this has certain weight. I now think that the article should be moved to the title Phoeurng Sackona. But 1) moving the article is not done by manually copying the article text; rather, to preserve the article history, one should use the move function; and 2) a reference needs to preserve the title of the original page. (I'll try to fix the article.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 13:42, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- Done. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 13:49, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. The sound R in Khmer, as in all South-Asian languages, is almost mute or close to L. For a Khmer speaker CK and K are the same sounds. The previous spelling is a clear spelling error of a Khmer journalist or a person charged with relations with journalists at the Ministry.
