General sanctions alert

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.

Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Corda is a major piece of software being used by huge institutions worldwide. All facts in this article are referenced to independent sources. It is therefore absolutely notable. As a proof point, another platform in Corda's peer group has its own Wikipedia page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Hyperledger

Nickpwarren, I am afraid what you think does not matter. These notability policies were established by the community as a whole through consensus, and in order for your article to be accepted, it has to prove notability through those policies. Nickpwarren, I'm not a very good judge, so i'd recommend asking at the WP:HELPDESK. But, to me, it seems a lot like very few of these are independent, and are all press release with little independent content. Does the author of Draft:Corda (decentralized database) have any sort of financial or other connection with the subject of this draft? Please read the conflict of interest policy and the paid editing policy and make any required declarations.
