I'm using university wifi, why was I blocked from editing a page?

Request reason:

I'm using my university's wifi and was blocked from contributing to a wiki article, I don't know why you would block a university but it's beyond me. Anyways I won't be contributing unless it's from any mostly static IP like my home network to stop it from happening again, for the time being can you remove this block?

Decline reason:

This account is not directly blocked. If you are unable to edit, please exactly follow the instructions that appear when you attempt to do so. Yamla (talk) 10:30, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
