Style note
[edit]Hi. Just a small note. The "External links" section should be
==External links==
rather than
==External Links==
(so lowercase L), and it should be placed after see also and references, but before categories. Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:23, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
External links to Convergence
[edit]Many of the Convergence links are of very low value, so I wonder what your motive is for introducing them so aggressively. Please state for the record what your interest is in Convergence, to address the question whether there's any conflict of interest. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. - sorry, i'll remove some of the more recent links, which i suspect were the ones you mean. Surely, however, the previous ones, which do carry relevant information, deserve to stay.
- My attention was caught at Aristotle, where the material did not seem to justify adding to an already bloated set of links. It would seem that Convergence, if appropriate for external linking, is better for clearly math-related topics. Wareh 19:27, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
