What is wrong? All my editing from yesterday are gone?? The thinks I'm edit are right, so could you explain.... The link I changed, I changed because Bernard Berkhout close the old one! Need very fast an information! Nic Wendorf (talk) 18:31, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You ran afoul of a bot that tries to prevent linkspam. Facebook is not a reliable source, and since Berkhout has a personal website there's no need whatsoever to link to his Facebook page as well. See WP:External links for more guidance on what external links are appropriate. I have reinstated your changes, but removed Facebook altogether.
Speaking of reliable sources, that article is very short on those. There's the Doctor Jazz magazine article, and that's pretty much all we have. That's not enough to establish that Berkhout is notable enough for an article in the first place, and the page has been tagged for the issue for years without improvement. It might be nominated for deletion if no other reliable sources discussing Berkhout in some detail can be found. Huon (talk) 19:19, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

{{Help me-}} Thank you Huon! But I changed also other stuff and thats also gone. The facebook link I can delete...and I work with Bernard Berkhouts Managment together that there will be also photos and stuff. Maybe It's better to start a new Wikipedia page?! Thanks for Helping me! Nic Wendorf (talk) 09:34, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The bot isn't very bright (it's just a script), and so it can't differentiate between your edits. Since once of your series of consecutive edits appeared to add a Facebook link (it actually seems as though you just modified a link that was already there), the bot reverted that entire series of edits. Kinda sucks, especially since you didn't actually add the original link yourself. Yunshui  11:42, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bernard Berkhout has been reverted.
Your edit here to Bernard Berkhout was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/Doctor.Bernard.and.his.Swing.Orchestra?fref=ts) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
