Speedy deletion nomination of Steve Howard (Louth)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Steve Howard (Louth) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Article creation
[edit]Hi Nexivwho. I deleted the article on Steve Howard as there was no indication that Wikipedia should have an article about him. Being a "well-known video editor" or being involved in a local charity football event was 1) not supported 2) not the kind of thing that an encyclopedia writes about. Please read Wikipedia:My first article. When you write about living people you need to use high-quality reliable sources that are independent of the subject to show they are notable. You wrote that he produced tge first 360 video of snooker, but a link to the YouTube video does not verify this as the video was made by him - what you need is outside, reliable commentary on Steve Howard. If you are connected to him, you should also declare this. Fences&Windows 11:44, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Devine eSports
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Devine eSports, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
