THIS USER HAS LEFT WIKIPEDIA

Fellow brothers and sisters of Wikipedia, I announce that I, NewWorld 98, am leaving Wikipedia. It was a tough decision, but I felt like it was the most responsible decision to make right now. I can't help Wikipedia without being think that I'll abuse the priviliges of editing. I want to help, but seeing how low my popularity is and my image in Wikipedia is extremely negative, like I said it was the only good idea to spare me and everyone else. Alas, what also drove me to do this was that I found new interests in other places. Also, I'm tired of proving to people that I'm not a bad guy and that I'm not a bad helper. I relized that I wasted so much time chasing the critisms and controversys that surrond me and I finally found what I'm fit for and it makes me...happy.

Before I go, I have 3 things to request for:

1. Unblock NYC43 and 24.1.4.241 for their charges (It's my fault that they're involved in this pickle and I feel guilty about it.)

2. Make it that IP's can become administirators and can recieve Barnstars.

3. Have it that on:

January 1 and the Third monday of January

Febuary 7 (8 on leap years)

March 11

April 30

May 6

June 21

July 4

August 20

September 24

October 31

4th Thursday of November and

December 25

That users that have been blocked (except those who have made disruptive edits more that 3 times and ringleaders of sockpuppets) can be temporary unblocked on those days. I wish luck to all of those out there on Wkipedia.

Request reason:

I here to please be unblocked. The sentence I got has changed me. I'm ready to start over and help contribute to Wikipedia. I know you will feel uneasy letting me edit because of my past actions, but I'm here to make sure I won't repeat the same incidents. I believe in seconds chances and I hope you do to. To start, I believe that if you uneasy with me, you can put something that will tell you if I did something wrong. If you still feel uneasy, just let in expire this month, march or April. I also apologize for my actions in the past. by:NewWorld98 (talk) 16:36, 8 February 2009 (UTC) P.S. Spellcast, if you are reading this, I wish a good Valentine's Day to you and a great month![reply]

Decline reason:

Your request to be unblocked is declined because it does not address the reason for your block or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince administrators either (a) that the block was made in error or (b) that the block is no longer necessary because you understand what you are blocked for, you will not do it again and you will make productive contributions instead. Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information.  Sandstein  20:42, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I wish to be unblocked because I believe this block isn't necessary anymore and I understand the consequences of performing the same action or doing something similar to it. I understand that I was blocked for misusing wikipedia and for vandalism. I'll never do it again and if I'm unblocked, I'll contribute and I'm more than willing to make useful edits instead. NewWorld98 (talk) 20:54, 8 February 2009 (UTC) PS: Sandstein , thanks for the great advice you gave me.[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock as you make it clear you did in fact perform the actions leading to the block. I am not comfortable reversing the correct decision of another admin despite your assurances that you are repentant. Chillum 23:52, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure Mr. Steve is aware of that option. Chillum 01:18, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please do not put any more unblock messages up on your talk page, rather please email me with information as to why your request should be accepted and I will consider over the next day or two; and or ask you more questions as necessary.--VS talk 01:22, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
