Addition to Leon Patillo

[edit]

I think you erred. Patillo wasn't in the film according to the IMDB reference. I don't think that the two films are the same. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:28, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see it's not just Patillo you've add this to. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:30, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
According to the America Movie film site, Mr. Patillo was part of a vocal group that included the others (Tata Vega, Terry Clark, Rick & Cathy Riso, etc.). When I saw the film some years ago, I was impressed with their very moving performance, hence the addition when I saw their listing on the America site. Best regards, Neverland1 (talk) 20:37, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I saw that. Greg X. Volz, Benjamin Gaither, etc. But the IMDB entry is for a docudrama and the other video is just a musical salute to America. They are not related. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:42, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Walter - They are one and the same. It was a docudrama which interwove dramatic pieces together with music. IMDb doesn't list musicians but has the film whereas the other reference provided does both. There is footage out there somewhere on UTube of the film's closing number that has the end credits but I didn't want to look up and use it for a reference since the 2nd reference listed does the same thing. Thanks Neverland1 (talk) 20:47, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Walter - Actually, I began worrying that you might be right so I did take time to recheck my references and some others that I found online. It does appear that the "two" pictures are one and the same. I managed to locate the footage with the front credits at [1]. I also found the film's trailer [2] which actually has a brief clip of Mr. Patillo there (I didn't now about the trailer). I am relieved, though. Thanks for your watchfulness. It does help improve things. Best regards Neverland1 (talk) 21:34, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
