Hi Nev, I don't know if you are still an admin although your name sometimes crops up on my watchlist. For the last month Emmeline Pankhurst has suffered from a serial overlinker, I have reverted several times as has another helpful GM contributer. Is it a candidate for some level of protection? J3Mrs (talk) 11:00, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hi J3Mrs, edits on that page are fairly low level but just enough I think to warrant semi-protection for a while. That will filter out edits from IPs and new accounts. Nev1 (talk) 16:31, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Nev, appreciated. J3Mrs (talk) 08:46, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi Nev1, I noticed you had worked a lot on the Lancaster Castle article and was hoping you would be able to add in some information about the Wery Wall. I have written a bit for it, I just don't know where to fit it in the article. Please can you have a look at the talk page. Thanks very much ツStacey (talk) 16:06, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
WikiProject Military history coordinator election
Greetings from WikiProject Military history! As a member of the project, you are invited to take part in our annual project coordinator election, which will determine our coordinators for the next twelve months. If you wish to cast a vote, please do so on the election page by 23:59 (UTC) on 28 September! Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 22:07, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
The behaviour of the {{citation}} template seems to have changed over recent days, to the extent that it's now virtually impossible to use it to produce correctly formatted web links; changing "contribution=" to "title=" gets rid of the error message, but it incorrectly renders the page name in italics instead of quotation marks. So I've gone through the Ordsall Hall article and switched to using {{cite}}. There are a lot of other articles I need to check as well. Eric Corbett 16:16, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
- That's going to be a headache, I use citation more often that cite. I'm on a mobile connection at the moment so can't check properly, but would substituting |publisher with |work render properly? I wonder what prompted the change. Nev1 (talk) 20:33, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
