License information needed for File:Adamost.JPG

[edit]

Hello, NeroN BG!

It was really helpful of you to upload File:Adamost.JPG. However, in order to keep and use new images, they need to have a license.

If you can edit the description page and add the appropriate license, that would be great. If you're not sure how or need help, please ask at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again! --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More information needed about File:FourLions.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:FourLions.jpg. However, it needs some more work before it is okay to use on Wikipedia.

Please click here and do the following:

  1. Add a description of where the image comes from (not what it is) and who the creator is. Please be specific, and include a link if you can.

Thank you for your contribution! --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:06, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Serbia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bac and Gradac (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Jasenovac concentration camp does not have an edit summary. minor edits

[edit]

This edit is not a minor edit; the detail you yourself went into in the edit summary should have been indication enough that you're making a change that isn't minor enough that it doesn't have to be explained in detail :) --Joy [shallot] (talk) 19:06, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:750px-Flag of Kosovo.svg-1-.png or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Balkans does not have an edit summary.
I realise that you've been contributing for some time, but the lack of an edit summary (particularly when changing content to articles prone to edit warring), and when no references are provided makes it difficult for other contributors/editors to establish what your rationale is. Having checked your special contributions and talk page, you have continued to avoid edit summaries despite being asked to do so a significant number of times. I am adding myself to the list of those who are asking you to provide and edit summary.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:07, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hvala unapred i pozdrav. Regards. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Balkan female heads of state

[edit]

Hello Neron and thank you very much for this edit[1]. I just wanted to let you know something about the summary, which is that in December 2002, Nataša Mićić became President of Serbia whereas the head of state would have been the President of Serbia and Montenegro (FR Yugoslavia) and this was Vojislav Koštunica. Just mentioning this so you don't make any mistakes in main space on that subject. Thanks all the same. --Vrhunski (talk) 22:12, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of The Proclamation

[edit]

The article The Proclamation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails Notability and Verifiability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of The Proclamation for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Proclamation is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Proclamation until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Vanjagenije (talk) 10:17, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Djindjic-1-.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Djindjic-1-.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:56, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Belgrade bynight.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 08:35, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13Talk 17:11, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
