Request reason:

This is so unfair that somebody block me even tho i didn't even violate any rules? Just got on my wiki user page and see a notification of me being block and this isn't fair.i do not know what have i done to get block my account. I literally do not have a clue about it. I am Nepali, but i have been living in Qatar since past two years now, cause i have a work here and my IP address is : 37.211.253.150 can anybody go through this ip address or my account and see what is the reason of blocking my account?   • My Reply to you admin Hello, I understand that sometimes mistake can happen from anyone. but, what wonders me is that i have not done anything wrong to get my account block!. I swear to god, that i have no clue at all as to why am i being block ? i thing there is some sort of mistaken might have happen from the person who block my account. I totally do understand the rules of wikipedia and i am acting accordingly and if you would like to have insight on it please go through my account history. all i know is that when i got on my user page there were too many notification and i went through all of them and i found something funny that someone was using my name on some others debate. that might have gotten me block.literally i have no clue about it.So since it is a mistake please review it. further, you can go through my ip address where you can find all my details as where i live and all. cause i can see the someone is mentioning my user name for claiming of link with some others username. ya honestly i have to admit that my fault is that long time ago not even today or the time i get block. it was very long time ago about one month ago some another users page i have directed to another name and i had did it because he was told me to that. because he didn't know how to change the username and all that. so thought of helping him and now he turns out to be one of the worst wiki editor and he did something unethical work by editing random pages and debating with some others user and most of his work seems that he is being jerk with everybody. so since he is not being good with everyone that affect me as well. cause i had redirected his page and that shows on wiki contributions as well. after doing deep research on why am i being block? i found something very funny user discusses. where some other user were mentioning my user name on that discuss. so i curiously read all of them. all in all what i am trying to tell you is that i am not that person what you might have guessing if you go through my ip adress you can see where i am using my wikipedia user page from?. I am a nepali, but i have been living and working in Qatar since past two years and compare my ip adress with that user and you will be clear about it. That user who got me in this trouble is using this userpage: AdamSmith12, and i need justice in this time.   • if you want more insight please read this also : This is error as i have already mentioned above. i would like to make clear that i stumble upon a another nepali based user page about a month ago. from the wiki chat room and as soon as he disclosed where he is from! i was very curios to check him out on other social media and eventually we become a friend. and one day he told me he want to change his page name and i told him do it your self and he said he don't know so i thought of helping him out. so i did it for him but i was not aware of that small task could lead me into getting my user page blocked.not knowing how to change user page name that means he obviously was new to wiki and started doing something reckless kind of editing and arguing with other users for puting some maintenance tag on his articles and people started talking about him and he ended of getting his account block after few hour later somebody put my name there too so that leads to my account block as well. This is so sad! :( People are thinking User: Adamsmith12 and Me Nepalirider123 are same person. :( :( but in reality not. Please check my ip and his ip you will be more clear about it. i am also a nepali , so it means there certainly will be similar edit with other many nepali editor. i do not know much about other country's stuff so i focus my self on to nepali based article. so what is wrong being similarity ? as there will certainly be . if you choose to check other nepali base user you probably will find same similarity in some point. There's also this and the first edit at this page, moving AdamSmith12's original user talk page to User talk:Nepaliwriter123. Granted, that's a slightly different username than "Nepalirider123" but it's very clear these two know each other, despite claims to the contrary, even if they aren't necessarily the same person. --Yamla (talk) 17:49, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
Dear Yamla when i had edited this article Girish_Khatiwada_(NepHop) he had send me that banster and i din't ask for that and you are blaming me for that ?? I removed it later. cause i am not eligible yet for that respective post as i have to contribute more to wikipedia and to be honest with you later i found out that article was created by him and i am repeating you i didn't ask for that. he put me into this trouble it is beyond my hand why can't you think that way ?? why that user is silent whole this time ?? why he is not speaking up about it ?? is he scare of coming out and facing all of you?? and most of you are supporting him by doing what he would have thought or might have planned.anyway, let me make clear to you all. firstly, i can see most you are pointing out two three things and hereby i summaries it: One day i was editing some articles on wikipedia and that user send me two banster saying you did good edit and thanks for the editing the page i created blah blah and second was you should be admin so on so. i didn't reply to his banster and i had removed it from my talk page. Now that it become a great fault by my side. it is so absurd to say that i have connection with him, Check every thing and ask me million,zillion questions as i am ready to debate/discuss about it. and i hereby confirming you all that if i have had made any mistake knowingly or unknowingly that would not repeat in the future again. but honestly so called mistake, when that happen? and how that happen? i do not know all i was doing was editing nepali articles.Now some of you are comparing with his work, obviously somebody found out i edited some of his article and they suspect me of being close relation with user: AdamSmith12. and this is even more absurd. all in all please consider my request or otherwise please delete this account do not make a joke on wikipedia. i am not like that pathetic user who ruined my hard work and determination sorry for being little aggressive here and i hope you do understand that when you have not done anything wrong but have to pay for someone else deed. I'm somewhat impressed by Nepalirider's unblock requests, which testify to greater competence than Adam Smith has ever shown, and to a feeling that seems genuine to me. Also, we certainly want more Nepali editors. Nepalirider, I'm prepared to unblock you. Don't have anything more to do with AdamSmith12. Quite a few admins are watching him, and I frankly think he'll be blocked indefinitely soon. I can't ban you from contributing to articles he created, or discussing them on WP:AfD, etc, but I advise against it. (PS, it's not "banster", it's "barnstar". I didn't understand your version at first.) I'm not sure what I should do about the message from the UTRS bot. I've removed it so as to get rid of the UTRS category, now that you are unblocked.   • Comment from non-admin: For what it's worth, having examined this editor's editing history, and compared the two users' respective edits and the nature of their interaction from the beginning through the present, I believe this editor is possibly not the same user as AdamSmith12 (talk · contribs), and that this editor merely made the massively stupid error of changing that other editor's user name a few times. Why s/he got entangled in that is somewhat baffling (and, as I say, stupid, as s/he apparently now realizes), but I believe this editor may be telling the truth. I believe this editor should perhaps be unblocked because I believe his/her English and editing skills, and knowledge of Nepalese subject matter, could be an asset to the encyclopedia. I also accept the fact that there are indeed few Nepalese articles on Wikipedia, hence possibly the overlap. If only one of the two users should be indefinitely blocked, I believe it should be AdamSmith12, because he is being truly disruptive, whereas this user does not seem to have been. I'm saying all this as the person who brought this entire situation to the blocking admin's attention; having however now examined the case more thoroughly I believe that this user has possibly merely been the fairly unwitting victim of AdamSmith12's poor and destructive behavior (including, just as two small examples: this nonsensical "curation" of Nepalirider123's userpage [2], and this copypaste of the exact same WP:RFP/PCR request within 5 hours [3]). It's fairly clear to me that AdamSmith12 has some serious DE, NOTHERE, and CIR issues, whereas I'm not sure I see that in Nepalirider123. Edited to add: I could be wrong about the intentions of this editor though. They plagiarized their entire userpage from User:GregorB, including his barnstars: [4]. When the faux barnstars were deleted (twice) by other editors the following week, Nepalirider123 logged out and reverted them: [5]. (Nepalirider123 then removed the faux barnstars the following day [6], but the rest of GregorB's stolen userpage stayed, although Nepalirider123 collapsed it a few days ago [7].) Clearly there's some strange behavior with this editor that I didn't recognize when I wrote the post above. Perhaps both editors deserve indef blocks for their nonsensical behavior. Very strange indeed. However, I'm fairly sure that this is not the same user as AdamSmith who apparently is a 6th or 7th Grader in Nepal where the school's computer is probably being used either by a whole bunch of kids, or one person using several accounts. Smith has a very poor command of English whereas NepaliRider is able to makes himself reasonably understood and is of an age where he goes to work. This doesn't move me any closer to recommending he be unblocked, but perhaps a CU could unravel exactly what is going on, because it would reveal all the other accounts involved that we may not yet be aware of. AdamSmith12's behavior has been very consistent over time, so I'm sure that account is not being used by more than one person. His age (command of English does not necessarily reflect age, and many people edit Wikipedia while at work) is in my mind far less germane than his DE, NOTHERE, and CIR behavior. @Kudpung and Softlavender: Well, I've unblocked. As you say, there are differences, and there's also WP:Systemic bias to consider. I'm no longer sure about the sock issue. I don't think "Adam Smith" is a schoolchild, though. The first Adam Smith account, User:Adamsmith, now a redirect, started editing in 2005. Bishonen | talk 09:43, 30 July 2016 (UTC).

OK, the information about the original User:Adamsmith's contributions [10] is even more disturbing. The user of that original account was a very sophisticated English speaker; see this for example: [11]. He edited very sporadically for nine years. Then the account was hijacked by the Nepali user Rajusharmaofc, who, like Nepalirider123, apparently plagiarized someone else's userpage en masse (while adding a Nepali userbox as well) on 2 July 2016: [12]. Then on 11 July 2016 he replaced that with a copy of Nepalirider123's userpage (can't make this shit up): [13], then reverted while adding administrator rights [14]. Then Nepalirider123 renamed that account Nepaliwriter123 three days later [15]. And so on and so on: More bullshit iterations of the page: [16], [17]. Clearly so-called "AdamSmith12" is up to no good, and in my mind needs an immediate indef block for DE and NOTHERE. Bishonen, Kudpung, Bbb23? -- Softlavender (talk) 10:16, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

I absolutely agree with this and I think this is a good case for Bbb to use his CU tool without any further ado, because tere are some socks lurking behind that Nepalese IP. You might not have seen, due to all my corrections to my posts, but Bbb23 has already run CU on both accounts twice, including yesterday: [18], [19]. Maybe there are more tricks he can check (Rajusharmaofc sleepers? 178.152.246.48 accounts?) that he didn't already, but I just thought I'd reiterate that. As the person who initially declined this editor's unblock request, I'm very happy to see other admins have spent a considerable amount of time looking into the matter further, and coming to the conclusion this is a productive editor who should be unblocked. Nepalirider123, I look forward to many constructive edits from you and I hope you don't hold my unblock decline against me, because I'm certainly quite happy to see you have been unblocked after further investigation. I wouldn't advise removing this content for the time being, because Nepalirider123 engaged in some serious plagiarism and misleading claims on their userpage, and also there is still the problem of the new discoveries about AdamSmith12, and Nepalirider123's aiding and abetting of him. Plus there are some request pings to at least one admin who has not had a chance to respond yet. If anything, after some of these issues are cleared up, the contents of this talk page could be archived, but I don't think they should simply be removed. I'm happy to see that Nepalirider123 is finaly unblocked. Welcome back and and happy editing. Now, regarding with AdamSmith12, should we open a long-term abuse case regarding this user? Because, clearly this needs further investigation on how Rajusharmaofc hijacked that account. I'm quite surprised to see that a school kid is able to hack a account. Ayub407 I even don't know the meaning of hijacked/hacked so please don't make me in trouble. Actually in starting my account is in business name after Administrator changes to Rajusharmaofc but i din't feel comfortable in this name and again i request Nepalirider123 to change Rajusharmaofc to AdamSmith12 So this is the fact as you can check my Account History. And regarding my qualification ya off course i am studying in Grade 8. I am new here & i am learning. Just my account is unblock due to some fault and i already Apologizes my mistake & again please don't make me in trouble. I am unknown about this.   • To the admins on this page: I think it's obvious AdamSmith12 is by far a net negative to the encyclopedia and needs an indefinite block. The thing is, do we want to go to the trouble of an ANI report (which would, I feel certain, result in an indef when all the evidence is compiled and presented)?
