Status and Advice

[edit]
As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article. What you now have is was perfectly appropriate for a user page. But I am a little puzzle dat the content you originally added, because worldcat shows no such author. I assume it was just experimentation.
If you want something to get started with , there are hundreds of articles on Spanish language writers in the Spanish Wikipedia that do not have an English equivalent. Sources in any language are fine, so you can just copy over the esWP references. But be aware that their standards of notability are somewhat looser than ours--see WP:AUTHOR for our rules on this type of article. Basically you need either a major national level award, or several well-received books, with citations ot the reviews. DGG ( talk ) 09:01, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because while the username and the content added to the user page were created in a mini-workshop on getting started on wikipedia at work, I do intent to get my start getting my feet wet with minor edits in the next few days. --Nendicott (talk) 02:45, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
