Dear Melcous,
In the article on Fulata Moyo I changed half a sentence, which I find has been published on Wiki:
would "translate into something of a matriarchy", but was disappointed to see the pervasiveness of patriarchy even in Christianity
My words were even in, marked bold. I think the original words were "due to" or "because of."
I do not remember if I added a publication of her.
I think these humble changes do not deserve a full disclosure of interest etc, just because I mentioned that I am an editor.
But anyhow: Let me try to answer the concerns.
  1. I have know Fulata Moyo since about 1993. For some yeaers we were colleagues teacheing in the same Department at the University of Malawi.
  2. In those years she cooperated in the editing of Kachere Series books, of which I was the honorary editor.
  3. Since she left for Geneva, we have met a few times briefly.
  4. I am now the honorary editor of Mzuni Press and Luviri Press (the titles can be found on www.africanbookscollective.com).
  5. All professional connections finished 20 years ago.
  6. There have never been any commercial relations.
If you need any further disclosures, do let me know, but I feel that my 2 word correction (and maybe the addition of a publication) does not warrant too much scrutiny.
PS: I think I remember now, I corrected one bibliographical reference as well. Kachere books in the beginning were not published in Zomba but in Blantyre uder CLAIM.
The entry now reads Published as: Blantyre: Kachere Series.
That is correct in substance. But we would prefer it to read: Blantyre: CLAIM-Kachere Series, as that would include the nominal publisher. But it may stay as it is, if you prefer.
Greetings
