Thanks for uploading Image:Chrispine.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Marketing

[edit]

Please do not use Wikipedia for advertising or marketing, such as you appear to have done on the Hilary Duff article. --Yamla 21:57, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You've been warned. Wikipedia is not a forum for advertising and marketing. Do that again and you'll be blocked. This message is in regards to the Material Girls edits you have been making. --Yamla 22:30, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You were warned about using Wikipedia for marketing. You are hereby blocked for 48 hours for continuing to do so. --Yamla 16:59, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Material Girls article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While the Wikipedia community appreciates your obvious efforts to increase the amount of information on the site, we'd like to point out our policy against original research and for citing sources for the information you provide. This increases the reputation of Wikipedia as a whole and aids in checking the factuality of that article. Extraordinary Machine 22:31, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Outwardblond.jpg

[edit]

Regarding Image:Outwardblond.jpg, are you ABSOLUTELY SURE that you took the picture of Hilary Duff? You claim that you have but you may mistakenly think that just because you added the text, you created the image. Please clarify. --Yamla 22:36, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Outwardblonde

[edit]

Your recent upload of Image:Outwardblonde.jpg appears to be exactly the same as your earlier upload of (disputed) Image:Outwardblond.jpg. For this reason, your most recent upload has been deleted. --Yamla 23:01, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You just went and uploaded yet another copy of that image. This is considered vandalism. If you do that again, you will be blocked. If you want to rename a previously uploaded image and don't know how to do that, please ask for help. --Yamla 23:05, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Despite numerous warnings, you have continued to vandalise the Wikipedia. Most recently, by removing tags on the Outward Blonde article. Because of this continued vandalism and because you are showing no signs of ever reading this discussion page, you have been temporarily blocked for a period of 24 hours. Once the block expires, you are welcome to start making productive contributions to the Wikipedia. Please note, though, that if you continue vandalising articles, you will be blocked again and likely for a longer time. --Yamla 23:13, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging Image:Duff.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Duff.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 16:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Duff.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 16:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image problems

[edit]

Because you continue to insist on uploading copyrighted and unlicensed images after multiple prior warnings, I am asking you to please immediately cease uploading any further images until you have fully satisfied the source identification and licensing requirements on all prior image uploads. Failure to comply with this request may result in an immediate block for wilful and deliberate copyright infringement. --Yamla 16:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you decided to ignore this warning. I have blocked you for 48 hours for continuing to use Wikipedia for marketing. If I catch you uploading any further images without licenses, particularly those that look to be blatant copyright infringements, I will consider blocking this account permanently. You have been warned. --Yamla 17:03, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Hilary Duff, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 16:57, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stormbreaker poster

[edit]

Can I ask why you felt it necessary to upload a duplicate of a poster I had already put on the article? I could understand if it was another article but the fact you replaced the original with your new version suggests you knew fine well about it. Please think about removing it

Stormbreaker article

[edit]

Stormbreaker is a British film. Therefore, the article should use its original title and poster to show it. Please do not make significant changes to the page without referring to it on the talk page. Thank you. -- Britishagent 16:59, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move pages by cutting and pasting the content into a new title. Pages should only be moved using the "Move" tab at the top of each page; this preserves the edit history and makes sure that previous editors of the article are credited. Thanks. Removing CSD notices

[edit]

Please do not remove CSD notices unless the problem that causes the article to be tagged is repaired. "My Life Would Suck Without You" was deleted at WP:Articles for deletion/My Life Would Suck Without You, and should not be recreated until the single charts.—Kww(talk) 22:59, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Philip Andelman, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Philip Andelman. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Rafter H Entertainment

[edit]

The article Rafter H Entertainment has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable media company.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
