Your GA nomination of Martín Insaurralde

[edit]

The article Martín Insaurralde you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Martín Insaurralde for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Yapperbot's handling of WP:FRS stuff

[edit]

First, wanted to say I'm glad someone is "on" this and making sure FRS continues to work. I also appreciate the feature of merging several RfC notices into one actual message. However, I need to report that I seem to get way fewer FRS invites to RfCs than I used to, like by an order magnitude (maybe one or two per week, rather than a near-daily stream of them, sometimes several per day). It has long been of value to me to know site-wide where a lot of kinds of disputes are and to help resolve them with policy/source-focused input.

So, I think there's some kind of glitch here. Even if it's configurable in some way, I don't think people's former notice levels should have significantly changed after your bot took over.

Also, I wanted to suggest putting the date in the heading, e.g. "Feedback request: Politics, government, and law request for comment (2021-01-30)", since if there are two or more "Feedback request: Politics, government, and law request for comment" headings on the user talk page, following the new-message alert we get will take us to the first, old one. Several times now this has led me back to old, closed RfCs (or even to pages where an RfC one was and has now been archived).  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  18:46, 30 January 2021 (UTC); revised 21:32, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've unarchived this, since I didn't get a response. I still find that I get far fewer FRS notices than I used to, and this is not a desirable outcome.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  21:32, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PrunerBot help

[edit]

Hi Naypta! Thanks for your very useful PrunerBot. I would have liked to enable it for WikiProject Anatomy and have followed your instructions by putting it on the page. However, it doesn't seem to work. Would you be able to show me what I have done wrong? I also want to enable it at WP:PRV once I have worked out how to make it work on AP Anatomy. Thanks in advance, Tom (LT) (talk) 10:21, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it was an issue of me being impatient. The bot worked perfectly as described! --Tom (LT) (talk) 08:10, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
