Changing the title of a Wikipedia page

[edit]

Greetings! I had created a Wikipedia page of a public figure close to me, but there was some confusion due to the English translation of his name from Hindi. The existing title reads as Vashishth Narayan Singh, but his name spelling present in all the documents is Bashishtha Narayan Singh.

I was able to make the edits in the source but still unable to change the title from Vashishth Narayan Singh to Bashishtha Narayan Singh. Today is his death anniversary and we are planning to spread this page about him.

Kindly help me in editing the title of this page, as the Move button also isn't appearing. Please look into the matter. Hoping to hear soon.

Sincerely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarthakkashyap4 (talkcontribs) 08:44, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Moving Chris Ihidero page

[edit]

Hi. Please help move the Draft:Chris Ihidero back to the article space at Chris Ihidero. I noticed you've put a delete tag on the empty page. This will no longer be necessary. Thank you. Igwatala (talk) 12:32, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help with Clean-up

[edit]

Hi Naypta,

I'm reaching out to you for help as I'm unable to find the right way to go about a problem. I've created a Wikipedia page about my company. All the sources quoted are from published articles. How can I request the article be edited so that it does not read like an advertisement or promotional article.

The company and article in question is https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Playware_Studios.

Any help or guidance you can give me will be very welcome.

@Lifeformind: Hi! You're generally strongly discouraged from creating or editing articles that pertain to anything you have a connection to - see WP:PSCOI for a summary of the guidelines on this, or WP:COI for the full policy. You're even more strongly discouraged from doing so if you're being paid in connection to the creation of the page. That said, in regards to the article reading in a manner like that of an advertisement, 'buzzword' phrases like "B2B emerging education technology space" and " emergent game play and user-generated media that can be used by teachers and students through the 3DHive platform to bring engaged learning into the classroom" tend to make the article sound in violation of neutral point of view. Hope that helps! | Naypta opened his mouth at 09:03, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
