Once Upon a Time

[edit]

General Consensus on the talk page has decided to leave it as it is, so please stop changing it. Also please don't capitalise stuff that does not need capitalising as it just begins to look messy, paticulaly "Of" in the Knave's name. The bottom note is also better, as it is refered to as Enchanted Forest in the show and real-world is better at describing it that Land Without Magic, especially since it now has Magic. Also "first curse" does not need to be in captials as it is not a proper noun. Thank You.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 09:51, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. The worlds listed in the List of Universes and Realms in Once Upon a Time were used to list about the details of the world and have not listed full histories before. It was confirmed that Dorothy Gale will be returning to the Land of Oz at some point. As for London, England, I went with the Earth one because I don't know how the Darling siblings would get from an alternate London, England to the main location in the Land Without Magic without any of the known world-crossing techniques. I left something like that on the talk page. --Rtkat3 (talk) 03:09, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have noticed that the Victorian London that the Darling Family from Once Upon a Time was said to have come from was changed to the Edwardian London. I was wondering if you had any comment on that. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:55, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good point with the different Englands. Also, you forgot to put your signature and timestamp in that message you left me. Just letting you know that. --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:49, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have the official proof of Kansas being in a different world which is to be added to the worlds page? --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:55, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. I have noticed that you have begun having the characters from the Once Upon a Time spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland appear on the main character page. If you are planning a merger at some point, I was wondering if the characters would be placed in the section that detailed the characters for this spin-off? --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:00, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I also thought of placing them in the spin-off section, but then I thought of characters like Will, Cora, Maleficent and Robin. This 4 , as well as a few others had appeared in the spin-off one way or another (voice/appearance). So in my opinion, maybe we place the characters in the list we already have (primary/secondary/guest) and after that just recommended the other page to be deleted and the spin-off section in the original list can be removed as well.

Actually, I think the main and recurring characters have already been merged to the main list page but the guest list have not. Btw, you did not sign your name, so I don't know who are you :) Naveenruben97 (talk) 01:24, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I had thought someone would've placed the characters in the section where the Main template for the characters from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland would be just like how it was originally planned before it was made into it's separate article. Someone had already lower-cased universes and realms. I don't even know if the page listing the different species should be renamed. By the way, it was me when I forgot to sign my name. You can place the comment before the unsigning on my talk page in this response and then a separate one with the amount of colons that are needed. --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:00, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ONCE: WONDERLAND : Haha, that's what I thought so too, I never expected an entire brand new page for the spin-off characters as both lies within the same universe. I mean, we don't have a seperate page for the creates (one for the parent series and another for the spin-off) and also for the list of worlds, so why characters need 2 pages :D. It was me who started merging the characters but I have not merged the Guest characters from the spin-off yet, it's really hard and would like some help, then only the page can be nominated for deletion :)

WORLDS AND REALMS PAGE and CHARACTERS PAGE : For the worlds page, that someone who went and lower case universe and realms is the same guy who wants to change the format of the characters page. The one that I'm reasoning with in the talk page and the one which I asked help from you to clarify. He just changed it by moving the page just like that without even having a discussion. Moving a page and renaming (lover casing the words are renaming as it changes things) should be discussed first. I'm actually getting tired of fighting with him. I mean, the format had been used since 2011 when the show aired and we follow the other pages (main ONCE page and season pages) in how to list the characters, I don't get what's the fuss about the it is now and changing it into brackets and making it longer than it is by adding additional words such as "The" in the brackets.

WORLDS AND REALMS ORDERING : Btw, what happened to the worlds page? It's now using alphabets order? I don't really think that's the best way to arrange the worlds page. This is because some worlds like Fairy Tale Land, Edwardian London and the Land Without Magic has subcategories. Now realms like Agrabah, Arendelle, Camelot, DunBroch, EF and Oceanic Realm is spread out in the list. The worlds is better off organised in order of appearances. As for the creatures page, the alphabetical order is alright, it kinda makes it better. Naveenruben97 (talk) 04:51, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how the worlds got like that, but we originally listed each one in order of appearance with their major locations as a sub-section. --Rtkat3 (talk) 14:47, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OUaTiW Character-response

[edit]

I mentioned in the last Once Upon a Time message that I had the characters sorted by shows since the other characters from the Once Upon a Time in Wonderland spin-off haven't appeared on the main show yet even though we don't know what happened between Will Scarlett and the Red Queen prior to Zelena tampering with the second Dark Curse. They were down there just in case someone wants to merge them. I left Will Scarlett in the main characters page because he was on the principal cast for the third season as well as leaving Caterpillar's involvement in both shows. I don't know if the creators have any plans for another Once Upon a Time spin-off. That will be for them to decide. --Rtkat3 (talk) 14:01, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then. I'm alright with this plan. Perhaps characters from both shows listed in the main section and characters who had only appeared in the spin-off in the spin-off section. We can start merging the secondary and guest characters as well so the other page can be nominated for deletion. Naveenruben97 (talk) 02:19, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That plan might work. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:12, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps a merge discussion should be done. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:18, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The thing is nobody responds to discussions. I had done one before and only one person replied to it. He agreed with my idea but none others bothered to reply. I just merged the main to the parent section at that time and it seems other editors were alright with it, so I think it's save to place the remaining characters following the new format (your format). Unless someone undoes the edit, then we start a discussion with that person and let others join in. Is that alright with you or nah? :) Naveenruben97 (talk) 07:54, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikia source-response

[edit]

If the box states that we have been approved to use their information, then go right ahead? --Rtkat3 (talk) 14:25, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know where one finds a box. If you want to find this type of box, check the Help section of this website. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:15, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, only some locations name is taken from there, the rest, like major names, it's content, the timeline were all done by the users. Majority of the content has it's source, the main issue is some locations which has same names from the WIkia as it's taken from there by some users, like "Hideout Cottage" of a such. Everything else was done by us without the WIkia, so it's really irritating, especially when all the timelines were done by me and some other users and then the page is now gone for that. Basically, some materialls does sometimes comes from that page, but that page also uses relevant sources from the show and other articles, so it's still canon informations AND not fan stuffs. Worlds in "Once Upon a Time"

Worst Place response

[edit]

I didn't recall about the River of Lost Souls going into the Worst Place. I don't know if that afterlife will be explored in Once Upon a Time.--Rtkat3 (talk) 17:33, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
