Welcome!

Hello, Navdeeptrivedi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. A tag has been placed on Positioning Animals Worldwide requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. • I suggest that you only add references from third-party reliable sources such as newspapers and magazines. If the iPhone application has been reviewed or mentioned in a reliable source, then Wikipedia editors would accept that as evidence of notability. A reliable source does not have to be available online, but should include the date of publication and the page number. I would only add the company's logo if you are making other changes at the same time. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 18:53, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Borkificator/January 2011, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Borkificator (talk) 09:01, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Spectraforce Technologies Inc Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Spectraforce Technologies Inc Logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:05, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Spectraforce_Technologies_Inc_Logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Spectraforce_Technologies_Inc_Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 12:21, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free files in your user space

[edit]

Hey there Navdeeptrivedi, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce, Inc. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:05, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Skier Dude2 I have uploaded the transparent logo of my company Spectraforce Technologies Inc - Spectraforce Technologies Inc Logo.png. Please retain it on http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce_Technologies_Inc. We have been using this logo from the date of formation of our company 2004. We have also processed for registering our logo at the IP registry as per the provisions of the Trade Marks Act 1999. The application is under consideration and final grant is pending form the competent authority and we are expected to receive the final certification anytime.

Also please help me get this article into Wikipedia.

Regards Navdeep

I saw your post on Skier Dude's talk page. It appears the problem is that you don't understand that the use of non-free images is forbidden per WP:NFCC#9 unless they are used in mainspace articles and that they have a fully completed fair-use rationale, so displaying the image on one of your user pages is not allowed. You should familiarise yourself with the non-free content policy. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page. BTW you have got two apparently identical pages User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce Technologies Inc and User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce, Inc; unless you have some reason for this duplication you can tag one with the {{db-author}} template to get the one you don't need to be deleted by an administrator. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 15:29, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks ww2censor, I have added Template:db-g7 (talk · links · edit) to User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce, Inc. Please confirm if we can move User:Navdeeptrivedi/Spectraforce Technologies Inc sub-page to the Wikipedia main article. Thanks once again for your time. Regards Navdeeptrivedi (talk)
