I tagged it with {{Db-authora|:Image:Anticonsume.jpg}}, which allows people other than the author to fix bad tags when it is obvious that the author wanted to delete his or her own work. The admins saw this and deleted it. Jesse Viviano 04:31, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Use of fair use images outside of main article namespace

Please stop adding images tagged with fair use tags (such as {{promotional}} or {{logo}}) to your userpages, as you did here and here. The use of fair use tagged images outside of the main article namespace is proscribed in policy by Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Your Skinny Puppy contributions

Let me thank you for your help with the Skinny Puppy discography. As you can see, I've also been creating articles for the releases which have yet be represented here on Wikipedia by bringing out Bites and Remission and Remission & Bites. Although I began those articles, you put the finishing touches on them by providing the cover art for each, which I couldn't be bothered to do since the red tape on uploading images is a bit confusing for me. The single provides no information about why it is notable. The article doesn't say that the single sold x records, was played on y radio show or was released while a notable band was doing a notable tour. In short it's a very short article that doesn't assert importance or provide encyclopedic content. Sure, thanks. Perhaps if you are considering writing articles on subjects which can't assert notability yet, they shouldn't be written yet. Particularly with regards to underground music there are sackloads of articles on Wikipedia that don't correctly assert importance or significance and while they have the potential to become significant, they probably should be considered potential articles; written once they deserve it. Otherwise, they run the risk of appearing to be using the Wikipedia to build their significance rather than describe it. Elomis 00:40, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I think I feel that while an article can start as a stub (that's why we have the term right?) there's a minimum standard of notability that has to be achieved (WP:MUSIC) before it can even begin. Either way, you've stated you are not using Wikipedia to build significance of something and I believe you (even if I didn't, good Wikipedians assume good faith) so I am going to stay away from Skinny Puppy and associated CSD'ing - maybe taking a look at it at a much later date to see how it evolves. Well, folks, if this is what it looks like, then I'm thinking you folks are debating on the deletion Remission & Bites and/or Bites and Remission. Feel free since it fits well within Wikipedia's guidelines for notability, but if you're going to go after one or two, be sure to go after all the rest - namely 90% of the articles I've created regarding certain obscure bands and albums. I'd contact the webmaster at webmaster@sec.senate.gov . It seems to be a copy of a painting rather than a photograph. I'm not a copyright expert by any means, but I'd expect the webmaster to be able to tell you the copyright status of the image. Mine were not the only comments buried. I've only asked you to be more careful. You would certainly not remove another user's comments from a Talk Page, because it's not up to you to asses their importance. What you did was de facto removing them, since nobody'd never look at a Redirect's Talk Page.

About my comment on bees, you can read it as if it were:

"The sentence:

"... it occurred frequently, for example, in primitive beekeeping.

"kind of asumes the reader knows what happened with primitive beekeeping. What was it (honey is still sweet)? Moreover, it doesn't cite a source for the claim."

Perhaps written this way it looks more important to you.
