Hi! Just a quick note to inquire why you don't make some improvements to the references to prove notability or, alternatively, explain why you feel the information supplied already proves notability. My take on the subject is that he has a famous friend (and may be on his way to becoming notable himself). I don't believe that notability is there yet. That is my opinion and you have another. However, removing tags without making a case as to why you think they are inappropriate/erroneous doesn't further your quest. Let's discuss this on the article's discussion page. Thanks! --Stormbay (talk) 18:10, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sourendra Kumar Das has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Listen, please. Removing the template does not stop the deletion process. Please follow the directions. If you do not, you will be blocked. This is your final warning. Qwyrxian (talk) 21:33, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
While you are at it, you need to read WP:RS, our guideine on reliable sources; if you do, you'll see that blogs are never reliable sources. Second, you need to read WP:GNG, which explains what we need to demonstrate Das is notable. Things he himself has written don't verify that in any way. We need things written by other people (and, as I said, not blogs). Qwyrxian (talk) 21:36, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
