Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. CSD declined for Solve quintic equation in general form
Hi User:Nathan121212. I have declined your speedy deletion nomination of Solve quintic equation in general form because the patent nonsense criterion of CSD G1 is quite strict, and the page you nominated is not nonsense, it's an attempt to solve a complex math problem. Instead, the article is probably a violation of WP:NOTHOWTO, and while that still means it will probably be deleted, it just doesn't qualify for speedy deletion. If you are new to new page patrolling, you may want to read over this guide to being a new pages patroller, the detailed criteria for speedy deletion, and perhaps this essay on why it is important to perform speedy deletion nominations carefully and accurately. Being a new page patroller is very important to preserving the integrity of the encyclopedia, and with time your vigilance could be invaluable. However, you've done some great work with your South Africa-related articles as well, so don't feel compelled to drop those efforts either. Thanks, and happy editing! Altamel (talk) 20:47, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Altamel, I'll check out those guides. Nathan121212 (talk) 05:02, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Accidental DYK nom deletion
Sorry about that. There was an edit conflict and I must have pressed the wrong button! Edwardx (talk) 18:56, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Edwardx no problem. Just check that I didn't accidentally delete yours when I reverted. Nathan121212 (talk) 18:58, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Good point, but I've already checked and re-added it. Thanks. Edwardx (talk) 19:01, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi Nathan121212. I have taken down your prod of the above article, I figure it deserves at least a discussion at AfD. If I have crossed some policy boundaries let me know, I have been on wikibreak for a few years and things may have changed in my absence. Thenub314 (talk) 19:45, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- No problem, I was just trying some new page patrolling. I'm not that familiar with the maths Manual of style. Nathan121212 (talk) 19:48, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Thank you!!
I really enjoy the improvements I never would have been able to make to the Women's Soccer in South Africa article I created. I really appreciate it. Dwanyewest (talk) 15:03, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Samantha Mumba page
Hi
I do not understand why you requested the page to be deleted. It is an actual song released via Itunes as part of her discography. Perhaps you failed to see the new single I stated, but it is called "Only Just Begun" and I edited it literally a few minutes ago. The rules states that new singles of any artist may be added provided that it is actual verified single (which I have done). There is not much on the single other that what is provided on ITunes but given the fact that Mumba has been dormant for 12 years that is expected. If you haven't read properly I suggest you do before putting up deletion tags on individuals much researched posts. Thank you! https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Only_just_begun — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kesha Watson (talk • contribs) 20:45, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
- Likewise, this article doesn't meet the speedy deletion criteria; an article about an album (song, etc.) is only liable for speedy deletion for lacking a claim of notability if the article about its recording artist does not exist or is itself a speedy deletion candidate. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:55, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry about that User:Mike Rosoft. I have responded on the authors talk page, I thought the album would have to achieve a bit more success and media coverage than what it currently has but it seems this is sufficient. Nathan121212 (talk) 20:57, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
The article does not meet the speedy deletion criterion; it turns out that it's an album by Eugenius. (Though the albums have limited notability on their own - neither this article nor the other album Oomalama cite any references - and a case could be made for merging them into an article like Discography of Eugenius, or even the main article.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:47, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

Need your help if you can
As you are based in South Africa can you help with this subject Paseka Motsoeneng. Anything you can contribute would be most helpful. Dwanyewest (talk) 15:04, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- @Dwanyewest:: glad to see you've taken an interest in South African topics. There is quite a bit of work needed on this article. Also ensure only factual entries are added. This article should not be supporting the subject (how it currently stands) of opposing it. For more info, please see WP:NPOV. Thanks. Nathan121212 (talk) 15:11, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
The only other subjects I can think that maybe of interest to you that is South Africa based are Irreligion in South Africa and Prostitution in South Africa which I created. I will try to improve the Paseka Motsoeneng article if possible, should the article be deemed insufficient it will be probably be deleted so be it. Dwanyewest (talk) 19:03, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
