Are you from Russia? — Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 08:18, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm on EN

[edit]

Hello. As I said, I am on EN, and will be here more often (re my wikibreak from simple and messages on my talk page there). Hazard-SJ Talk 08:13, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck! Hazard-SJ Talk 08:24, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'll comment another time. I have to finish setting out what I took in my suitcase to En, and sort out my things. Hazard-SJ Talk 08:41, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Hazard-SJ Talk 08:45, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still going through the scripts and projects. I'll look at the page in a few hours, hopefully, as I am going offline soon. Hazard-SJ Talk 09:44, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! Hazard-SJ Talk 09:50, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Go to the reference (not the list) and, for example, <ref name="Pilot Episode">{{cite video|people=Written and Directed by: Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko; Voices: Mitchel Musso as Aang and Mae Whitman as Kya|date=2006-09-19|title=Avatar: The Last Airbender — The Complete Book One Box Set|medium=DVD|publisher=Nickelodeon}}</ref>, look at the highlighted text and change it to the date wanted. Hazard-SJ Talk 09:57, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the example I showed you, the section in bold and italics shows the date. change it to the date you want. Hazard-SJ Talk 10:03, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's because the link goes to a page about the specific date. how about removing the parameter (|date=DATE) from the ref? Hazard-SJ Talk 10:09, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good job! Hazard-SJ Talk 10:12, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck! Hazard-SJ Talk 10:22, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good job! Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I was busy with my duties here, working against vandalism. Guess what? I am a rollbacker and reviewer here! You really love Avatar! Hazard-SJ Talk 02:24, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What kind of vandal? Simple gets vandals every day, and here, we get vandals every minute. What did the vandal do? Are you enjoying Simple? Hazard-SJ Talk 06:04, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see. Consecutive vandalism, and none was watching. He got quite far. Hazard-SJ Talk 06:29, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wow! Good job! One question, though: Why didn't you warn the vandal? Don't you know where to find and how to use user warning templates? (Although if not, you could have simply left a note.) Hazard-SJ Talk 06:37, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So you watch, but not warn? Hazard-SJ Talk 06:47, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You should have more than enough time to warn. Here, a lot of vandalism goes unseen. We have special edit tags, such as section blanking, page blanking, Possible BLP or vandalism, multiple repeated character, etc., but still, a lot of vandalism goes unseen. Hazard-SJ Talk 06:49, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the templates can be found here. Hazard-SJ Talk 06:52, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good job!! What will you do when you completed everything related to Avatar? Hazard-SJ Talk 06:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What a lot of work! You seem as interested in Avatar as I am in vandal patrolling! Hazard-SJ Talk 07:06, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Correct! That's why I try to make it easier, by, as you can patrolling mainly anonymous user's edits. I also help in reviewing pages, as I am a reviewer. Hazard-SJ Talk 07:12, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I also update Template:Vandalism information from time to time. Hazard-SJ Talk 07:17, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Big problems?

[edit]

What problems? I also left a note on Simple. Hazard-SJ Talk 22:59, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
