Sorry I still need more help. I tried adding an image of the photo my coworker bruce leach took of the show globe for my show globe article. I uploaded in the wikipedia commons giving everyone permission to use it. I tried adding it to the article but it is a mess. Could someone fix it up or show me how? NOthing seem straight forward. Please help me add the category Pharamacy to this page. I have no idea how the word template got there. there is already a category Pharmacy, I just do not know how to add it.

Show Globes

Hi, just thought I should explain that the reason you are having problems is because rather than get all the content sorted first and then create the article, you have done it, what is unfortunately, (and this is not a criticism just a comment) the wrong way round, and created an article with no content. You really should have created the article with at least some content to identify the subject matter, that way other users know what the article is about. Have a read of some of the links in the welcome message above, and also WP:BETTER, WP:CITE, WP:RS and WP:VER. Have fun though and welcome to wikipedia.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 16:24, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for your message and no worries you are doing the right thing! You don't need to email anyone though, just ask questions on other users talk pages like you have on mine. You could leave a message on the articles discussion page asking for help/input from other users and list the specific areas you need help with. There is also the "helpme" template which you place on your own talk page like this - {{helpme}} and it would alert users that you need help. Someone should then come along and help you! Don't worry though there is plenty of time to get things sorted. I have the article in my "watchlist" which lets me know when changes are made and I will keep an eye on it for you, and will look at the references you mentioned now. Keep in mind this article for when you feel more confident about adding sources WP:CTT. If you scroll down to the section titled, "Citations of generic sources" there are some templates which can be used for sources whether they be websites, news articles, books, journals etc. At first sight they can seem quite daunting but once you start to use them it gets easy. They go inline (in the same way you added that last ref), but don't worry for now there is plenty of time to get used to using the templates> I can add one for you when you like and you can then see how they work.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 21:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

 I am having trouble figuring out how to construct multiple footnotes for the same source.

As colorful as show globes are their history is even more so. The most dramatic story of their origin goes back to the time of Julius Caesar 100-44 BC. When the Romans invaded Ireland, Caesar’s forces found an ideal landing site opposite a pharmacy window which displayed large containers of colored liquids. Caesar’s forces guaranteed the pharmacist that he would be safe from the invading forces as long as he kept lighted lanterns in his windows which would serve as a beacon for the landing forces. As a token of his appreciation, Caesar “decreed that henceforth all apothecaries would be permitted to exhibit containers of colored liquids in their windows as a symbol of their calling."

The only problem with this theory is that this would have occurred at least twelve centuries before there was any recognizable separate profession of pharmacy.

To be honest I don't think you need the underconstructon tag on it anymore. I would think that is the reason why it doesn't show up on google yet. I think this was the last article I created - West Lancashire Derby, that is the second link when the term is googled. And checking some recently created articles they appear on google. This is an article I have done some work on, which another user created on 24 March and that is already there on google - Ishita Bhaduri‎. Salvia feedback

Thanks for the feedback Natalie. I can't take all the credit for the Salvia divinorum article, but I was one of the editors particularly concerned about ensuring well-sourced references for its content. I'm a Wikipedia enthusiast for sure, but the citation of good references is an area sadly lacking in far too many articles I have to say. I'm not a research scientist by profession, but I do appreciate its philosophy and method, basically the demand for evidence, for which many of our politicians and lawmakers seem unfortunately quite regardless. --SallyScot (talk) 21:40, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
