I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was The Men from the Ministry, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I edited/updated this link because it was submitted by me some years ago and was no longer valid.

Also some years ago I changed some information in the section headed "Springbok Radio/Radio South Africa version" of the Men From The Ministry broadcast on the South African Broadcasting Corporation's (SABC) radio stations because it was incorrect. I used to work on the South African version of The Men from the Ministry radio series at the SABC. I am retired from and no longer work for the SABC.

This information is provided by me, free of charge to Wikipedia for interest sake only.

I hope this explanation clears up any concerns.

If you feel it still violates rules of Wikipedia, you are welcome to delete the reference and link "A page on the 1993 recording of a Radio South Africa episode".

Please note that I didn't revert the edit, since I feel it is a reasonable update of the link. My comment reflects the fact that your username indicates clearly that you have a conflict of interest with Men from the Ministry and need to its their article carefully because of that. —C.Fred (talk) 11:19, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
