Otabek Mahkamov

There's a content dispute involving the English Otabek Mahkamov article. A large amount of derogatory information based on blogs and tabloids, and it seems to have been an issue on uz:Otabek Mahkamov as well. As you're a native speaker and uz admin familiar with the situation, I'd appreciate whatever input you can offer. Thanks, —Guanaco 19:52, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I've just left a comment on the Makhkamov talk page. Nataev talk 18:56, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Nataev has protected this article, because he doesn't want to loose his false content. Probably, he has intention to hurt the person in this Otabek Mahkamov article. Samarkandiy 20:26, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
Mahkamov has made false claims about his birthplace, academic qualifications, and skills. It's a fact. His case is eerily similar to the Essjay controversy. Nataev talk 03:04, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
If you think that you're right, why English version was removed??? Samarkandiy 04:17, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
It's still being discussed. As for the Uzbek version, we'll have a separate discussion. The Uzbek article now has links to archives of the original articles. Nataev talk 04:20, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
Senday odamni birinchi marta ko'rishim, odamgarchilik degan tushuncha badaningda yo'q ekan! Samarkandiy 04:38, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
Odamgarchilikning nima aloqasi bor? Odatda tayin argument topa olmagan odam mavzuga taalluqli boʻlmagan ezma gaplarni aytadi. Nataev talk 11:59, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
Shuncha argument yubordim. Birontasiga to'g'ri javob berilmadi. Gapni olib qochishni hamma biladi. Haqiqatni yozish kerak emasmi? Samarkandiy 17:03, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
Javob „toʻgʻri“ yoki „notoʻgʻri“ ekanligini hal qilishni kim senga qoʻyibdi? Falsafiy gaplarni yozma. Bu yer inglizcha Vikipediya. Ingliz tilida yoz. Bir mavzuni ikki tildagi vikida bitta tilda muhokama qilma. Nataev talk 04:03, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
Sen menga qanaqa yozishni oʻrgatma, ba'zi narsalarni sendan yaxshi bilaman, oʻzingam shuni tushunib turibsan! Samarkandiy 14:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
Masalan, oʻzbek lotin yozuvinini? Inglizcha apostrof ishlatib yuribsan-u. Nataev talk 03:35, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Nima qilasan buncha ezmalik qilib? Joninga tegmadimi? :) Uzwikida meni yana blok qilishdi, javob yozolmadim senga. Sababini tushunolmadim. Menimcha, bu sizlarning administratorlik xitrostlaring bo'lsa kerak. Ikki yoki uch marta soft blok qilib keyin muddatsiz blok qilasizlar, to'g'rimi gapim? Samarkandiy 03:51, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Kecha senga email yuboruvdim javob bermading savolimga, u erda tahdid so'zlari yo'q edi, ochib ko'r. Samarkandiy 03:55, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Ezma menmi, senmi? Munozara sahifalarini axlat bilan toʻldirishda davom etganing uchun bloklangandirsan-da. „Ochib ko'r“ — Yana nima qilay, xoʻjayin? „Erda“ emas, „yerda“ boʻladi, chalasavod. Nataev talk 03:59, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Savolimga javob bermading yana. Chalasavodlik faqat yozish bilan ma'lum bo'lmaydi. Agar sen aqlli va savodli bo'lsang men seni tushunib bunaqa gaplarni yozmasdim bu erda. Samarkandiy 04:06, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Assume good faith degan narsa bor. Senaqalar buni tushunmaydi ham. Munozarani axlat bilan toʻldirsam, Mahkamov nomini oqlayman, deb oʻylama. Natijaga erisha olmaysan bu yoʻl bilan. Afsus, u senga taklif qilgan mablagʻni ola olmas ekansan. Nataev talk 04:10, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Birinchidan uni tanimayman, ikkinchidan men senga aytgandim menga pul kerak emas deb. Agar pul uchun qilayotgan bo'lsam, bir hafta vaqtimni bekorga sarflarmidim? Samarkandiy 04:13, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Men ham uni tanimayman. Faqat tanigan odamingdan pul olasanmi? Argumentingni qara. Pul taklif qilgani uchungina shuncha jon kuydiryapsan. Nataev talk
Men sen bilam bunday gaplashib boshqa odamdan pul oladigan odam emasman. Sen fikringda turishing mumkin, bu seni ishing. Uzwikida 2 ta ishlaydigan admin bor ekan o'zi, yangi kelganlar bilan yaxshi munosabatda bo'lib, o'rgatish kerak emasmi, bunaqa bahslashib o'tirgandan ko'ra? Bunaqada rivojlanish bo'lmaydi! Samarkandiy 04:22, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Boshqalardan pul olishing bilan men bilan „gaplashishing“ oʻrtasida qanday aloqa bor? Argumentlaring ahvolini qara. „Turushing“ emas, „turishing“ boʻladi. Yangi kelganlar senlab, osmondan kelsa, munosib javob oladi. Nataev talk 04:28, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
No comments )))))) Samarkandiy 04:31, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Xayriyat. Nataev talk 04:33, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Haliyam Wikipedianing Prezidenti emas ekansiz! U holda umuman gaplasholmas ekanmizda. Samarkandiy 04:33, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Bizda prezident yoʻq. Hamma oʻzboshimcha. Nataev talk 04:39, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Wikipedianing foydali jihatlari ko'p, butun yer yuzida odamlar foydalanadi. Lekin odamlarning ishonchini qozongan bunday resursda har xil shaxsiyatga tegadigan ma'lumotlarni berish noto'g'ri deb o'ylayman. Kimning xatosi yo'q? Shu gaplarni bu erda chop etish kerakmi? Bu kimga foyda keltiradi? Wiki Englishda tekshira oladigan, muammolarni hal qiladigan administratorlar ko'p ekan. Lekin Uzwikida yordam berish tugul, kritikadan boshqa hech qanday gap eshitmadim. Samarkandiy 04:46, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Manba boʻlsa, hammasi yoziladi. Aynan shuning uchun enwikida Karimovlar inson huquqlarini poymol qilgani haqida koʻp yozilgan. Uzwikidagi maqola esa ularni koʻklarga koʻtarishdan nariga oʻtmaydi. Nufuzli manba bormi, yozilaveradi. Uzwikidagi sustlikka kelsak, kim xohlasa yozadi. Oʻzbeklar paxta terishi, Rossiyada ishlashi kerak. Vaqt yoʻq bunaqa narsalarga. Nataev talk 04:51, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Boshqa yerdan turib O'zbeklar haqida bunaqa fikrlar yozma. Avval borib yashab ko'r, keyin yozsang bo'ladi fikringni! Samarkandiy 14:16, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Sendan soʻrayman-da endi nima yozishni? Fikr emas, fakt bu. Borganman, koʻrganman. Hozirgi zamonda biror mamlakat haqida bilib olish uchun u yerga borib yashash shart emas. Hammasi haqida Internetda, jumladan, Vikipediyada maʼlumot koʻp. Masalan, mana bu maqolada. Nataev talk 15:07, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

You’d better translate the article into Russian. Best regards, Sir Gossip (talk) 22:00, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Or else what? Rather busy these days. Nataev talk 04:03, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

It is still incumbent on us, however, to elucidate the sense and meaning of the question posed by you. What is meant concretely by the question "Or else what"? For a proper understanding of the real meaning and extension of your question, it is expedient to appeal to the source submitted:

Had better is a strong expression. We use it if we think there will be negative results if someone does not do what is desired or suggested.

The explanations adduced seemingly make it comprehensible in what sense you are asking "Or else what?" As the dictionary justly remarks, the expression "had better (you’d better etc.)" is often understood quite wrongly, as if it were a matter of posing the task of doing something. This misunderstanding evokes a necessity again and again to explain that the expression "had better"—it is constantly necessary to stress—signifies not only a recommendation, but also a warning. In saying "you’d better do something", one also starts from the assumption that ignoring the advice can entail consequences which seem to the adviser to be disastrous. It is clear from the above that your question should be formulated as follows: "What will occur if I don’t translate Sitora Farmonova into Russian?" Do you mean this? Then I don’t know what will happen. I suppose you know it yourself. An unambiguous though indirect indication of the justice of my supposition is the headway made by your contributions to the Wikipedia. They unequivocally witness that you strive for the augmenting of articles about Sitora Farmonova. At first you created two articles about her (in uzwiki a. enwiki). Then you began prompting other Wikipedians to translate Sitora Farmonova into German. In such behaviour there are distinct attempts to translate your Sitora Farmonova into every language that exists. How then are these fervent attempts to be explained? Apparently by the appropriate conviction, namely: you are convinced that if only a few Wikipedias contain articles about Sitora Farmonova, the infinitely infinite immensity of the versions of WP will dwarf the pretty actress to insignificance. This provides a consistently scientific answer to your question and explains those negative results which will inevitably occur if someone does not translate your Sitora Farmonova into a foreign language.

In summing up my introductory remarks, I must note that there is no doubt about the encyclopaedic significance of translating Sitora Farmonova into foreign languages including the Russian one. Siz rus tiliga tarjima qilmasangiz, Sitora Farmonova xafa b’oladi.

--Sir Gossip (talk) 00:51, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

Aha, this contribution of our Korean colleague markedly advances my idea. It remains to make a translation into Russian, at least. --Sir Gossip (talk) 13:06, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

You need to see a doctor. Nataev talk 13:15, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip. --Sir Gossip (talk) 18:00, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thankyou for your participation in the challenge series or/and contests. In November The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There will be over $4000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. If this would appeal to you and you think you'd be interested in contributing new articles on women during this month for your region or wherever please sign up in the participants section. The articles done may also count towards the ongoing challenge. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate and raise money to buy books about women for others to use, this is also fine. Help would also be appreciated in drawing up the lists of missing articles. If you think of any missing articles please add them to the sub lists by continent at Missing articles. Thankyou, and if taking part, good luck!♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:32, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi! OK, will take a look. Nataev talk 09:27, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi, can you, Ymblanter or Ezhiki find sources for this in Russian? She's notable but having a job finding sources. It's for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/The World Contest, you're welcome to join in, we don't have an entry on an Uzbek woman yet!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:52, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Hey, Dr. Blofeld! Good job! Here's what I've found:

Thanks, can you try to see that all the facts in the article are sourced later when you have time and try to improve it?♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:40, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

OK, will do! Nataev talk 05:25, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
