Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to The Funk Brothers because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 18:13, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am not affiliated with the museum or any of the artists so I don't have anything to promote. This info should be on these pages anyway and it doesn't make sense to remove factual information when info about other inductions to various Hall of Fame's are allowed to stay in the same format.

Musicians Hall of Fame

[edit]

Please stop adding the Musicians Hall of Fame to multiple articles. The repeated mention is promotional, and the action is spamming. If you find a major newspaper that announces the induction of some musician or group into the Musicians Hall of Fame then you can add that information, citing the major newspaper or other WP:Reliable source. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 18:27, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
