Images of Muhammad

[edit]

Hi everyone, Let me make it very very crystal clear again, Images of Muhammad(PBUH) are completely forbidden in every sect of ISLAM. There is no Room for them in ISLAM. Second, if some one says that it is not in Quran than they should know Muhammad Himself prohibited to make any image of him or other humans, even if the artist is Muslim or Non Muslim. So please do not argue on that basis that these are created by Muslims. Thirdly, if you give so much value to word of GOD, then you should not support to keep images on this page. I again request the author of this page to remove the images as well as all the false or misleading information about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from this page immediately. ALL THE ARGUMENTS THAT SUPPORT TO KEEP IMAGES HERE ARE BASELESS AND FALSE.Naseem 15:02, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Please read Depictions of Muhammad. Your view is factually incorrect. There are muslim sects that allow depictions of Muhammad. Jarkeld (talk) 16:43, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, please read:
  1. WP:NOTCENSORED
  2. The discussions at Talk:Muhammad/images
  3. The FAQ at Talk:Muhammad/FAQ
Together this will explain why we will keep the images at Muhammad. Jarkeld (talk) 18:32, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I have moved your comment and all the related discussions to Talk:Muhammad/images. If you want to reply, please do so there.—Chowbok 19:10, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, please be aware that those images were created by Muslims. And the images are not forbidden by the Qu'ran. Please read Talk:Muhammad/FAQ for more information. ~Amatulić (talk) 05:00, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

...and if you read nothing else, please at least read the Qu'ran so you'll know what you're talking about. Rklawton (talk) 16:54, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
