Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 19:23, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The username was blocked. I'm publishing our company's page. The disclosure has been added on my userpage and will be added to the talk page as soon as the draft is created. NYFTrucks (talk) 19:52, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account and will remove the block. Please comply with the paid editing policy as discussed below, as soon as possible. 331dot (talk) 23:36, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@HickoryOughtShirt?4: Hi, can you please review my unblock request? Thanks! NYFTrucks (talk) 20:02, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We need to wait for a global renamer. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 20:15, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please also be aware that companies need to meet Wikipedia's notability criteria to be included. There must already be a significant amount of coverage from multiple sources that are both reliable and independent of the company to prove that it is worthy of inclusion. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:28, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the {{UserboxCOI}} template on your userpage is not sufficient. You will need to use the {{paid}} template if you are employed by this organization or are a third party paid to represent their interests. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:32, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@HickoryOughtShirt?4: All right, thanks
@Drm310: We have received coverage in about 15 news publications, including Forbes, FoxBusiness, Business Insider, Wired, and Bronx Times. I believe that satisfies the notability criteria based on my understanding of Wikipedia policies. As for the template, I'll update it to include the {{paid}} one. Thank you. NYFTrucks (talk) 20:53, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that the coverage needs to be significant, and must have been published because the source chose on its own to. Press releases, announcements of routine business transactions, staff interview, or brief mentions do not establish notability. Please review, if you haven't already, the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. 331dot (talk) 23:36, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Drm310: I have updated the template on my userpage. Please check, thank you. Also, I see that the page was reviewed, went live, and then moved back to the draftspace. I work at NYFTA and have little experience in editing Wikipedia pages. Can you please have a look at it? Thank you. DavidfromNYFTA (talk) 22:18, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
