Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]Hello NOVEM171. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!
I'm Jauerback, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
- Hello Jauerback...
- I have reviewed everything pertinent, I believe. I understand the demands and the independent sources protocol. I understand that Wikipedia would rather not have me write my own article, but I’d like to give it a shot, to your colleagues, the reviewers. I believe it to be legitimate, noteworthy and a respectable addition to Wikipedia. I have reviewed many pages, mostly my colleagues, peers and friends. I can see there are differing templates. I have already crafted the main text and I have gathered all the requisite independent references, articles and research. I have them as hyper links on my draft. So, the insertion of those “tags” will be my immediate challenge. I did attempt the sandbox. I understand the editing process, I’m a published author. What I haven’t yet conquered is the insertion of a link into the body of the text. The tools on the side of the sandbox don’t seem to come with much explanation. The insertion markups are confusing. Should I begin with “Create new article draft” and then ask for help inserting my independent sources, both outside of Wikipedia as well as within? Or, should we correspond more before I begin. I’m grateful for any help. I believe I can get it with just a little help. NOVEM171 (talk) 21:02, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
