Hi there, re: these changes, per WP:OVERLINK, we don't typically link to common words/phrases/major geographical regions/major nations/major languages/etc. Wikilinks compete for reader attention. The point of a wikilink is to offer a reader to explore a tangential subject they might be unfamiliar with. Nobody's going to wonder what a comedian or an actor is, for instance. Having more wikilinks actually reduces the likelihood that an editor will be interested in a tangential subject, and that's part of why we shouldn't be overlinking. You might also want to look over the template instructions for Template:Infobox person, Template:Infobox YouTube Personality, Template:Infobox film, Template:Infobox television if these happen to be your areas of interest. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:40, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- Also, please be sure you're observing proper English capitalisation when you make contributions like these. "Indian composer" is correct, not "Composer", as composer is not a proper noun. "Indian actor" is correct, not "Actor". "Indian politician is correct", not "Politician". Etc. I have fixed these for you in this edit. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:46, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nitin Patkar (Actor)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nitin Patkar (Actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
