Thank you
By the way, I owe you some serious thanks for opening this. I was seriously burned out and it was affecting my judgement. Best regards. Toddst1 (talk) 20:05, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

- Honestly, if we are going down the 'what muppet are you?' route, I think we could throw a rock and bounce it off 15 Fozzie bears.... (Personally I identify most with Rizzo the Rat.) Only in death does duty end (talk) 08:04, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, NE Ent. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Very Belated Thanks
Hi, NE Ent. I basically wanted to thank you about 28 months late for the suggestion you made near the end of this closed section of the GGTF Archive8 (here). I thought your sensible proposal got unfairly and rudely dismissed, though, despite the decision to keep it, the objectionable logo did eventually get replaced about 6 months later (here), for reasons unstated, but which may well have been influenced by your contribution. I couldn't thank you much earlier because I only found out about your contribution and the logo change a few days ago, as I had left the GGTF after feeling I had been painfully and unnecessarily mobbed when I made my own proposal at the start of that section. (Your actual individual edits there, like most of mine, are probably inaccessable, as apparent collateral damage when some other stuff was being deleted, so I probably couldn't thank you for the edits in the standard way, but even if I could I would have wanted to write this paragraph anyway).Tlhslobus (talk) 08:07, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
PS: I hope you are well, as your edit count rate shows a dramatic slowdown in the last year or so.Tlhslobus (talk) 08:07, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. Don't actually remember that discussion very well. It's true both that Wikipedia isn't much of a hobby for me anymore and I'm doing very well. While causation isn't correlation ... In any event, WP:OWB#2 definitely applies -- I'd be "Retired" 'cept I figured out a long time ago "RETIRED" templates are mostly unnecessary melodrama. And I do stumble upon the occasional article that could use a tweak. NE Ent 13:07, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
