Hello, thank you for your email. Please let me know what part of my addition to the article you believe is inaccurate or requires further documentation. I’m not seeing any changes/deletions to what I submitted. I’m a descendant of the Victoria family and am very knowledgeable about their Jewish ancestry in particular, which is very well documented. Thanks for adding a citation from a reliable source! — Gor1995 𝄞 20:45, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is more about the family I will be adding to this article when I have time. For starters, though there are works that incorrectly state that Victoria was born in Sanchidrián, there is not a shred of evidence to support this. No baptismal record has been found for Tomás that would prove where he was born, but all the circumstantial evidence points to the city of Avila, where his family resided at the time. Sanchidrián was merely the location of one of the family’s many landholdings. Though Sanchidrián likes to call itself “the cradle of the Victorias,” the only members of the family to ever actually live there were Tomás’ eldest brother, my ancestor Hernán Luís de Victoria, and 3 generations later Hernán’s great-granddaughter Elvira, who returned there to marry. So right from the beginning, this article has a major factual error, or at least an assertion that lacks evidence. Mysterium06 (talk) 20:55, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again - I just posted a major addition regarding the family background. I noticed you cleaned up my citations a bit, if you could do that again that would be great as I'm a bit of a novice with this! Thanks Mysterium06 (talk) 00:51, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
