Edit summary needed

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary with every edit. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Frze > talk 10:22, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Use Preview button

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Lysychansk , it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. --Frze > talk 10:22, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddy1. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Lysychansk without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!-- Toddy1 (talk) 23:17, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Lysychansk, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:27, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Lugansk, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 22:19, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lysychansk. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount and can lead to a block, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. -- Toddy1 (talk) 19:33, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Russian names

[edit]

Please keep in mind that we also provide geographic names in languages of significant ethnic minorities in the area regardless "official" status of their language. This is encyclopedia and its purpose is to help readers to find or identify information. Russian names are for use by wikipedia readers, not for glory of Russian separatists, and you should not battle them here. -M.Altenmann >t 06:30, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MykhayloNaumenko, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Erika from Nu Virgos

[edit]

When you get back from your block, please could you have a go at writing an article about Erika from Nu Virgos. If you are writing the article, and you think that Erika Herceg is the best name for the article, that is fine. The logic that your other ID presented in Talk:Nu Virgos has great merit in my opinion.

Please remember that the article and infobox will need her name in both the Russian and Ukrainian languages, and should mention other transliterations of her name.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:32, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you wrote to me? I do not know English! And I wrote that Mychajlo Naumenko is my cousin. He promised - let write. Wrote to him. P.S. Sorry for my English - google translate. -- MykhayloNaumenko (talk) 22:06, 20 May 2015 (+3 UTC)
If you cannot use English and he can, I suggest that you and he both ask that the indefinite block be transferred from Mychajlo Naumenko to MykhayloNaumenko.-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:57, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
