Hello, Myaqoob,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Abelmoschus Esculentus and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Prof Dr Muhammad Faheem Malik, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Abelmoschus Esculentus}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

Speedy deletion nomination of Prof Dr Muhammad Faheem Malik
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Prof Dr Muhammad Faheem Malik, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://independent.academia.edu/ProfDrMuhammadFaheemMalik. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —teb728 t c 13:45, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
The article Prof Dr Muhammad Faheem Malik has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. noq (talk) 15:46, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
status and Advice
[edit]- As reviewingadministrattor, I found it necessary to delete your article., for the same reasons as it had been deleted before.
- Much of it is copied from his website. We do not publish material that has already been published, because it is a violation of the original copyright. If you are the original author ,it is possible to release the copy under a free license, but I would not advise doings o, because the material is altogether unsuited for an encyclopedia, because it is written in a promotional manner. This can sometimesbe OK on the person's own website, but not in Wikipedia. To explain, it praises him, not describes him.Phrases like "H e is a man of exceptional caliber with eminent intellectual standings, excelled in his presence, and an inspiration for youth: ; "His life is a progress and not a station." ; " has emerged as a symbol of sacrifice" ; " head and shoulders above many others; a tangible reality; directing its future gaze," This is not WP:NPOV description.
- Why did you think that after it had been speedy deleted, having been proposed for deletion by an experienced editor and removed by an exceptionally experienced administrator, for reason that were very quickly stated on the template, that it should be almost immediate restored without fixing any of the problems? We administrators at WP keep track of things like this, and people who who do it are usually blocked from editing.. I'm doing so, to prevent you from immediately doing it again.
- Dr. Malik is probably notable, because of the CiveChancellorship, and possibly also because of the publications. But an article would have to be written properly, from scratch, simply presenting his accomplishments in plain language, and not including material from his web site or any other previously published material.
- But first read WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY and WP:Conflict of Interest. A person should not try to write an artilce about themselves, or someone closely connected with themselves, because of the great difficulty of writing acceptable neutral text in such situations.
- If, instead, you are an official representative of the university, WP:Conflict of Interest still applies, and, in addition, you must disclose the relationship on the article oand on your user page, according to WP:PAID.
