Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: it appears to be promotional in nature as it refers to Museums Luton. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Edits to Stockwood Craft Centre

[edit]

Whilst the Museum at Stockwood was been refurbished, exended and rebranded to simply delete the history and change the established date doesnt seem to be very accurate.

The new section you have added reads as an advert and will need heavy editing to comply with Wiki standards.--GazMan7 (talk) 15:04, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GazMan7 Many apologies, but being an inexperienced Wikipedia editor, I realised only too late that I had pressed the safe button too quickly. My intention was to 'update' content on the museum, and to put something temporary in place for the new Stockwood Discovery Centre.

I am glad you managed to put the original content back on and I just deleted the text I added on. However, how could we make things right? At the moment Stockwood Park Museum is redirected to Stockwood Craft Museum. I feel that the Stockwood Craft Museum page should be called Stockwood Park Museum. And that there should also be a page called Stockwood Discovery Centre with a link to it. Any feedback on this is very welcome. Thanks Museumsluton (talk) 13:36, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
